See the winner of the last week´s Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans @vinceboisgard with the following entry:

Darwin is now covered with clouds, the tide is getting high and the trees will soon almost disappear under the water. Despite the hazy weather, the sun found its way through the clouds to create this fantastic northern Australian scenery.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #44 - winner announcement!

@crazy-andy Asian Sunday entry:

We get up early one day in the middle of last year’s September and it definitely paid off with good morning view on Mount Bromo in Indonesia. This volcano is still an active one and it has huge cultural influence on Indonesian people. Would say that sunrise at Mt. Bromo is a must see in traveler life

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #44 - winner announcement!

@davedavis91 Australian Monday entry:

"Life on Rottnest" Imagine Paradise.... What do you see? Beach, Water, ocean, crystal clear water... If this is your imagination, than here you go: Go to Rottnest Island on the shores off Perth, Western Australia. This Island is home to the weirdest Rat-Kangaroo species called the quokka. A cute and tiny something all over the island. Snorkelling, swimming, and quite peaceful hang out place. Shot with my Nikon D5300.

Two ferries meeting while going in opposite directions, connecting the Maltese islands of Malta and Gozo. The image was taken from another Maltese island called Comino. Comino is home to just four permanent residents and it is famous for the beautiful crystal clear Blue Lagoon.

the shades of blue here are really something special ~ 💙 ~ the water almost seems to flood into the sky and vice versa :)

Great image, beautiful shades of blue.

It is quite common that the seas and oceans throw dead trees to the coasts, which are known as drifted woods. In the photo I show one of these woods at the coasts of the beautiful Jekyll Island in Georgia, USA. These woods are quite common there. Some of then give interesting shapes that the photographer can profit.

Thank you so much for your contribution. Have a great day. Tomas

Thank you.

View of Hobart, Tasmania

Hobart, the capital of Tasmania, is still is my favourite city in Australia. When I lived as exchange student with a host family in Tranmere in 2013, I enjoyed this beautiful view every day!

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

Wow, that was one hell of a view to watch. Amazing image.

Thank you! It was an amazing time :)

Cool shot! I remember winning 40-something dollars in that casino... We only went in there for laundry change money^^
Tassie was a great experience!

Haha lucky you! Go there again and you will end up as an eccentric millionaire opening a crazy museum :D

Gotta admit, not sure I got reference... yaix^^
Are you referring to MONA? I had to google crazy museum hobart^^

Didn't go there ;( Wasn't too much into art back then. Different now after studying it for so long

Yes, I was referring to MONA, it's probably my favorite museum, so crazy! When I was studying in Tasmania I could get in for free, so I went there 4 times or so. Definitely check it out if you ever make it back to Tassie!

At first sight the view is very similar to Norway, Northern Canada or Alaska. But nope, this is Baltic Sea during pretty cold period of time, maybe week or two
The coast starts to be frozen with some nice ice formations on the stones
The shot is done early morning on sunrise with a soft warm colors pushing through overall cold blue

And the boat with two fishermen in bright red coasts was just at right time and right place :)
A bit of long exposure added

Enjoy it!

Nice one! I've never had the chance to shoot Ice like that. Great photo ;)

Irun, Spain.
On our way from San Sebastian towards the french border we were looking for a place to watch the sunset. After hours walking through rural area, we finally found this peninsula that went north from which we had a perfect view heading west. Quite a difficult path that led to the rocks you can see on the photo. To the east: France, to the west Spain, surrounded by the Atlantic ocean. A beautiful sight!

Fantastic image. Thank you so much for your submission. Tomas

Thank you. Slowly running out of items in my "good" collection^^.
Thanks for the support

The Bedruthan Steps in Cornwall are a fascinating place. Walking amongst those giant sea stacks at low tide is awe inspiring. But you always have to be carefull and know the tides. Because during high tide, the beach you see in this photo here is nearly gone and you can easily be cut off by the tide.

What an amazing capture. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us.

This one's my personal favorite! Good luck!

This is the beach of Parguito on the Isla de Margarita, in Venezuela. A beautiful place known by tourists for waves for surfers and a nesting beach for sea turtles, where there are groups that are responsible for the protection of these species, on this beach are the best restaurants to eat sea food.

a little of my explanation about this one beach.
Beach "Kuala Cut", a beautiful beach when the afternoon is at sunset.
A beach that is a gathering place for young people, this beach is also very crowded by visitors on weekends.
In addition to being a favorite place of the people around, this beach also became the most visited beaches by local tourists, as well as abroad, because the waves on this beach world-class.
and morning fishing mania lovers, on this beach is also very suitable, because there are many fish here and large.
Located in Lhoknga District, Aceh Besar District.

Warm regards @czechglobalhosts

Amazing scenery.

The natural beauty of the sunset on the coast of Gampong Jawa. This ocean is also the path of the ship that crossed from banda aceh to the island of Sabang, aceh, Indonesia. And in the morning and evening. This ocean is passed by many local fishermen. This beach is located on the edge of the city of Banda Aceh.

truly mesmerizing ~ ✨ ~

What a beautiful capture. Thank you so much.

The beauty and charm of Kampung Jawa Banda Aceh has always been a visitor attraction both within and outside the city of Banda Aceh even more so after the coffee shop that provides a variety of drinks and food to enjoy the sunset twilight. So do not be surprised if the village of Java Banda Aceh always crowded with visitors.
