@jpphotography Asian Sunday entry:

The Malaysian island Langkawi is an amazing place to explore by scooter! After one day of driving around the island, I found myself looking at this beautiful sunset, so I stopped on the roadside to capture the silhouette of this mosque in the last light of the day.

@intrepidphotos Australian Monday entry:

The Natural Bridge is a naturally formed rock arch over Cave Creek, a tributary of the Nerang River. It was formed from a waterfall which undercut a cave beneath the waterfall and dug a pothole on top, until the two joined and the creek flowed through the cave, leaving an arch across the front. The bridge is located in Springbrook National Park in the Gold Coast hinterland of Queensland, Australia.

@mibreit-photo African Wednesday entry:

Something from the beautiful Seychelles again. I had the pleasure to visit La Digue for the second time a few weeks ago. Anse Source D'Argent was one of the beaches I came to for sunset every second day until I got a photo I was satisfied with. No blazing sunset, but a beautiful, calm blue hour.

@travelshots European Thursday entry:

The bay of Kotor in Montenegro, named after this small, medieval town, is often called Europe's southernmost fjord, but in fact it's a submerged river canyon. There is a steep hiking trail behind the city of Kotor that leads to amazing viewpoints like this one.

Last week, I rediscovered some old photos in a photo editing app on my iPhone. From each phone upgrade, these photos remained in the app dating back 4 years. This was one of those photos. It's from my trip to Costa Rica in May 2014 to celebrate a friend's birthday. We stayed at Villas Hermosas, a small villa on the west coast in Puntarenas. The hosts were beyond incredible and made the weekend even better. I loved this swing on the path to the beach positioned perfectly for a view of the ocean. I'm so happy I found this photo!

Photo of the Carrao River in Canaima National Park at the Venezuelan Amazonia. In this part of the country the main media of transport is by boat. At the background of the image there are some “flat hills”, a sort of plateau, which are characteristic of this landscapes. They are called "tepuys”.

Sunrise over Coyhaique, Chile.

On this chilly July morning a few years ago, I climbed up to a nearby vantage point where I could look out across the landscape. It was still dark when I arrived, and the light had barely begun to peak over the horizon. However, as the sun eventually peaked over the mountain tops it illuminated the smoke from the thousands of wood fires burning in people's homes on this sleepy morning.

Tremendous entry! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us.

I traveled 2015 to the beautiful Torres del Paine Nationalpark in Chile. Here is a photo of the famous mountains with the dark brown tops. A beautiful sight at any time, but especially enticing when the sunset makes the mountains glow in a burning orange.

Absolutely beautiful!

Truly stunning image! What a great submission. Thank you for that!

The megaliths of Saksaywaman in Cusco, it was amazing to see these giant stones. Some of the stones weigh up to 200 tonnes and they are all carved perfectly to fit together to form these walls. I heard that the only other place in the world were they have found the same style wall construction is on Easter Island at the base of the Moai statues.

Thank you so much for your contribution! Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on today. Tomas

This is a view of downtown Bogota, Colombia at dusk. Downtown isn't the most picturesque part of the city but it looks interesting at night, and even more interesting at dusk with some color still in the sky.

Thank you so much for your submission! Great entry.

This is the beautiful Cotopaxi volcano (Ecuador) with its 5897 meters high, when it is clear that it allows an exceptional shot, it is one of the highest active volcanoes in the world. It is a special place and you can walk up to its top. And today I wanted to share it with you, I hope you like Tomas ...

The bay of Juan Griego in Venezuela surprises us once again with its magical sunsets. It's amazing how every day you can photograph these sunsets in different tones. It's because of this and more than every day there are people taking pictures and others wanting to visit the place to contemplate this natural beauty.

Wow, looks like an ocean is on fire:)

This is my view while hiking in the Torres del Paine National Park in Chile, one of the most amazing places I've ever been. Here you can see the gigantic granite peaks, the simble of the park.

Thank you so much for submitting your fantastic image to my contest. Kindly stay tune for the winner announcement coming later on today. Tomas
