Taken on our hike up to Kinney lake on Mount Robson in British-Columbia. We hiked almost 12km in the forest up to and around the lake that day. We had just finished a section of steep switchbacks in the trail, with the elevatin we were gaining we knew if only we could get a clearing in the trees, we would get an amazing view. We were well rewarded.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. @roadtrips Asian Sunday entry:
Chess Pavillion. On the famous Mount Huashan you can visit this beautiful place. The way down to the pavillion is a very narrow path which you have to climb with the help of steel chains. So even the way there is an adventure.

Deserted island on the reef of Raiatea, island of French Polynesia in the pacific. This little island was ideal to spend a day of 'farniente', picnic by the ocean and snorkel in the reef.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #65 - winner announcement!
@itchyfeetdonica African Wednesday entry:
I took this picture in the southern valley of Ethiopia, near the boarder of Kenya. These girls were singing and dancing cheerfully. They wore distinctive accessories made with bright-colored beads and feathers. And the wooden object on the middle girl's head was not only a decoration, but also a common bench used by locals to rest. :)

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - European Thursday week #65 - winner announcement!
@axeman European Thursday entry:
Rainfall of Souls. The strongest Aurora Borealis I have seen in my life so far. Well, I wasn't yet in Norway or Iceland. And for Lithuania this is extremely rare occasion to have such strong solar storm visible, also because we have many cloudy and rainy days per year. Anyhow, that was true luck and extremely calm weather this night. So we went further from the city to the beach of Baltic Sea and Miss Fortune was really on our side :) Shot with wide 14mm lens on 30 seconds long exposure. Enjoy it!

Front view of the Homeland Monument in Merida, Mexico. Completed in 1956, this impressive sculpture known as Homeland Monument was created by the Colombian artist Romulo Rozo to pay tribute to the old Mayans who used to live in this part of Mexico. In fact, Merida still has the largest Mayan community of all big Mexican cities - more than a half of its population is of Mayan origin.
This is a pretty cool looking monument, interesting shot!
Thank you :) I love your entry from the Jasper National Park.
That sure looks pretty impressive! Thank you for sharing.
View of the Empire State Building - one of the most iconic architectural landmarks of New York City - as seen from the 7th Avenue in the Lower Manhattan. The building on the corner is Macy´s, a famous department store.
Even those days the building still stands out and impresses like it was build not a long ago.
The Banff National Park, located in Alberta Canada, it is a wonderful place for the nature lover due to the diversity of landscapes (rivers, lakes, mountains) and the wild life. This photo was taken at the Lake Minnewanka, where there are plenty wild life. These mountain goats were there eating grass and ignoring the visitors.
Stunning scene, I love the goats :) They are like copy-pasted :)
Wow, who would tell those are the goats.... what a great setting!
Taken last summer at the Columbia Ice Fields in Jasper National Park. The tiny vehicle you see on the road is actually a huge coach bus, We were on our way to a guided tour to step onto the glaciers. The Columbia Icefield area has several glaciers and has some of the largest and thickest non-polar permafrost. This Area is the watershed for much of Western North-America both US and Canada and it's glacial melt feeds in 3 separate ocean, a rare phenomenon called Hydrological Apex .
It does look very impressive from! Thank you so much for sharing your great entry. Have a good one.
Cathedral Rock
During the sunset this beautiful red rock formation appears even more colorful. Sedona, the area where this place is located, is a perfect destination for having a picnic and enjoy the nature.
I just love Sedona, would go back in a heartbeat.
Classic Car in Sancti Spiritus, Cuba
Cuba is famous for its classic cars and while there are some modern Chinese cars as well now, the US embargo forces the Cubans to keep their classic American cars from the 1950s running - and they do, much to delight of tourists. There also are a few remaining Soviet cars such as this one.
1/320s; 26mm; f/13.0; ISO 100
I have also posted this photo on my blog.
Thank you so much for your wonderful entry. Have a great weekend.
Moraine Lake is the born beauty of Banff National Park in Canada. Spending the early morning is a must if you're nearby. The sunrise will change the view by the minute till the point that the water is blue. These kayaks are for rent, but if you visit this early enough it isn't open yet. The colors of the photo are "nuff said".

Oh, I would love to do some kayaking over there. The nature is so pristine.
Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I spent a nice day on the river, exploring the city a different way. It is always nice to escape our busy life one in a while. Everything seems more beautiful seen from a boat.

Looks very calming, hope you had a great day over there.
yes I did :)
A view over the Manhattan's roof where grafitti artists left a signature for the curious to see. It can be quite hard to find a place to get a good view over the city and the Manhattan bridge is a good place to do so.
Location: NYC, USA.
Wow, that sure is a lot of graffitis.
This is so very cool.
I love checking out your blogs, since I love, love the talented photographers and the absolutely amazing photography from all around the world.
Thank you so much for creating this amazing contest @czechglobalhosts
