Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD! Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Asian Sunday week #23 – winner announcement!

@h2odigital Asian Sunday entry:

This is a picture of The Petrona Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They were the tallest building in the world until 2004. I went all the way to the top and it was a good experience, but it was raining and the views weren't that good. However, the view of the building from groundlevel did not disappoint. It is an amazing building!

Fish and chips at the Boat Shed in Mapua

Actually I can't believe that I just found that place after looking online for fish and chips Ruby Bay, where we had dinner 7,5 years ago. The world is insane.
We had a fantastic casual dinner at this little remote restaurant by a camp ground. A cold beer, great fish and chips with garlic sauce and that awesome view during sunset. If you did turn your head the other way around, you could see out to the open sea.

Sounds like a great dinner to me:)... and the scenery? Jealous:)....

This is Franz Josef Glacier in New Zealand. I had never seen one before so it was very exiting for me! I will never forget the amazing color of the glacier. Unfortunately Franz Josef Glacier is melting due to global warming.

Hey I posted a photo of the same place! What a coincidence! It was an awesome place!

Cool! It has happened before. I guess a lot of people are visiting the same places when they are traveling in NZ! :)

I just came back from the Austrian Alps and the snow conditions were not really what you would expect from Alps during the winter season. Global warming is becoming a real issue. Thank you for your entry. Tomas

That's very sad to hear! It seems like it's happening all around the world! We have to do something about it before it's too late! :/

Tauranga, New Zealand

The eastern part of the northern island is filled with beautiful coastline. Small island just offshore make for some great scenery and as you might know, the weather is almost always pleasant and fine. Best ingredients for some nice pictures.

That looks so peaceful. Thank you so much for your submission!

We were on a road trip around South Island, New Zealand as a celebration for our graduation. We were on our way to Franz Josef Glacier when we went past an exit to the main road and saw a glimpse of the view. We immediately backtracked ourselves, stopped by the road, got out the camera and took pictures. The view of the glacier from here was magnificent, with the glacier nicely framed by the green hills on either side. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

Fabulous entry! Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming in a separate post. Tomas

Thanks Tomas!

Perhaps the best known waterfall in Tasmania, Russell Falls never fails to impress. Now sitting inside Mount Field National Park the Falls Reserve was first established in 1885. Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, Tasmania, Australia. Its a great day trip from Hobart if your ever in the area.

In Arrowtown (NZ), there is a 4x4 track going up in the mountains. You'll have to cross about 20 plus rivers to reach the end of it which is an old gold mining station. All along the way the scenery is just stunning...

Location: Arrowtown, New Zealand.

Amazing image yet again. Time after time.

Thank you very much Tomas , I'm glad to eat it. It is very encouraging ;)

Uluru, the aboriginal sacred place, also known as Ayers rock.
I have visited this beautiful place already 5 times and I never get enough of it.
The color changes during the day from sunrise to sunset. I love Australia.

Lake Wakatipu in New Zealand - A beautiful expanse of water
IMG_20180226_175636 (2).jpg

This stunning lake in New Zealand's South Island, formed by glacial processes, is surrounded by the town Queenstown and a number of mountains such as The Remarkables, Cecil Peak and Walter Peak. I thought of paragliding from the top but felt nervous in the end.

What a view! That sure is a stunning lake! Fantastic entry. Thank you for that.

This 30 second exposure was taken from Mount Cook National Park in New Zealand. I hiked out from the village for about an hour until I found the right composition. The moonlight was shining on the mountain range just right to create the illusion that they were lit by the sun.

Another photo from one of my weekend trips to the Wilsons Promontory National Park. The part of the peninsula where I took this photo is really a mix of all there is; yellow grass, blue lakes, green mountains and clear skies; all in one place. Simply spectacular!

That sure is spectacular! Completely agreed!
