It is my great pleasure to announce the winner of 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday. I would like to say huge thank you to all the participants for their great entries. The number of entries yesterday was very good with many high-quality images so it was extremely hard to decide on the winning one. I took this photo during my trip around Gran Canaria. And I'm lucky I didn't plan to be in place like this during the sunset :). But luckliy for me I've been. This is a place on Gran Canaria (Artenara) where is statue of Christ a little bit similar like in Rio De Janerio :) But ofc a little bit smaller.

As a national symbol of Cambodia, Angkor Wat is the country’s prime attraction that draws a large number of visitors all year round. It's even printed on the national flag. Despite the crowds, watching sunrise over the towers is an unforgettable experience for me. Enjoy this beautiful scene right after the sunrise!

This was the amazing view I got to wake up to every morning while I was staying in a air bnb in Windwhistle New Zealand. The name was fitting as this place is super windy and the wind whistles through the trees. It is also very cold.

The moody skies of the Antarctic Peninsula are such a beautiful sight. Although overcast a lot of the time there is still so much to appreciate and the terrain is such a magnificent sight.
