Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @almarlene:
2 Years ago I visited Červená Lhota Castle in the south of Czech Republic. I was already beforehand fascinated by the red colour of this Renaissance castle in the middle of a lake. Unfortunately when I was there the weather was quite bad and I could only catch some small sunrays in this photo. Still it's a very beautiful and calming place there which I would love to visit again in Summer or Autumn.

I rewarded @almarlene winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!
Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

Beautiful old city, Cesky Krumlov
A gem in the central area of the country. The river flowing through, the split of the city, the old streets. Very nice and quiet place with lots of offer. This is a walk in the past in the most beautiful old town, pebblestone walks and stunning views make it fantastic.
Such a splendid place deserves to be featured at any time! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us. Have a great weekend. Tomas
My pleasure dear. Have a great day.
One of the governmental buildings found at the Prague Castle, a massive castle complex dating from the 9th century. The official seat and office of the President of the Czech Republic, the Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle in the world, occupying an area of almost 70,000 square metres (750,000 square feet).
A little bit of the Middle Ages, Lysá nad Labem, Botanicus
Botanicus is a newly built medieval settlement. There are about 20 houses here. In each you can try some medieval craft. You can also shoot from the bow, swallow gold, torture ... There is also a medieval tavern. There are also jugglers and theater performances.
We spent here with a child all day. I can recommend.
This is a picture showing the fantastic Cesky Krumlov by night. I was so lucky that I actually stayed a night in the city, and thus I had the chance to walk in the evening and see the city with all the lights turned on! I know most people just come for a short day trip to Cesky Krumlov, but staying a night isn't a bad idea at all!
We meandered down from the castle and walked across Charles Bridge. This bridge crosses the Vltava river. The bridge had several artists painting caricatures for willing models. Lovely stroll and there are multiple statues as well. Also look up into the towers at the entrances as one of them has carvings. Oh, and one of my favorite things. this is free😜
Lom Velká Amerika
Yet it is a purely Czech "creation" and views from different angles are impressive and often at the edge of a permit. With young children, I would probably not go here, but: it is near Prague, on the way to Karlštejn or Křivoklát opposite direction, without charge and without food. Definitely worth seeing.
This is a shot from the start of a spontaneous weekend vacation in Czech Republic. The old part of castle Rožmberk that you can see here really pleased my eyes.
I have to admit, I love the beauty in old, crumbling things and buildings. I also like the new part of the castle, but this one I find more romantic somehow... :-)
Also it was the perfect autumnal scenery with such warm colors and a perfect view from the restaurant next to the river Vltava where we had some really good food and friendly service.
wonderful ~ ✨ ~
Thank you! 😊
Sedlec Ossuary, Kutná Hora.
The Constance is the underground chapel of the All Saints Cemetery. The remains of our 40,000 ancestors are stored in the ossuary. In 1870 the master master František Rint of Česká Skalice made an exceptionally imaginative decoration of the ossuary and is therefore often considered the original author.
Prague has been a political, cultural and economic centre of central Europe complete with a rich history. Founded during the Romanesque and flourishing by the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque eras, Prague was the capital of the kingdom of Bohemia and the main residence of several Holy Roman Emperors, most notably of Charles IV (r. 1346–1378).
