Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Antarctica. I am also adding World´s Oceans to the same challenge to allow more Steemians to compete in this contest.

See the winner of the last week´s Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans @jpphotography with the following entry:

Monkey Island, Vietnam. When I visited Ha Long Bay, I feared hords of tourists and cruise ships, but I was positively surprised: Apart from a few great backpackers in the hostel, there were few tourists around and I had a great time on Cat Ba Island and Ha Long Bay.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #71 - winner announcement!

@vinceboisgard Asian Sunday entry:

From the highest roof of Dhaka, the view is incredible. The scenery is almost futuristic, old buildings falling a part and new construction shining under this magnificent light. The pollution creates a fog sitting over the capital gives the final touch to this photo.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #71 - winner announcement!

@dronegraphica Australian Monday entry:

The lonely mountain - Taranaki. This mountain stands alone in the heart of Taranaki in New Zealand and is regarded by the Maori as a god, therefore a living being that must be respected. The surrounding countryside is simply stunning with all the little undulations.

View of boats floating on the Caribbean Sea as seen and captured from the famous Tulum Ruins, Mexico. The ruins are situated on 12-m (39-ft) tall cliffs along the east coast of the Yucatán Peninsula on the Caribbean Sea in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Tulum was one of the last cities built and inhabited by the ancient Mayans.

Hi @Czechglobalhosts, this is one of the most beautiful mechanics that the sea has invented. Also very loyal diving companions around Cocos Keelings Islands. This one is a grey shark.

This is awesome! I mean how do you even take these shots?! :)

Thank you !! In fact, I stayed 2 full weeks diving in the same place and this shark as 2 others came everydays to see me. A friend now !

Wow. You have some really cool friends now! :) I have a baracuda friend who always comes to see me when I snorkel in a bay here in Mexico :)

This photo was taken at the coast of Antofagasta on the shores of the Pacific Ocean at Northern Chile. The ship on the image is in transit to the port, where part of the coper exports of Chile takes place. In the foreground you can see many marine birds that are very common in these coasts.

The Futamiokitama Shrine is a couple of rocks in the sea near Futami, Mie in Japan. The rocks represents the union of husband and wife and are connected by a strong rope made of straws. They are considered sacred and there is a special ritual a few times during the year to change the ropes.

Shot two years ago at Curonian Gulf, Lithuania. Partially very transparent ice with some unusual patterns of frozen air or some gas. Looks pretty dangerous, so was the feeling. Though the ice was really thick much more enough to keep the weight of a human :)
Combined with some warm colors of the dawning sun all this resulted in pretty spectacular scenery

Enjoy it!

The light house in Cape Point South Africa over looks the South Atlantic ocean. It is a great walk up to the light house as it has a great view from the top.

I love having the window seat while spending a few hours in a plane. You never know what we will see. Sometimes we are so high that we can only see clouds but sometimes we get lucky and see a whole island from above. Here is one from the Caribbean sea.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

Hey Julian, there is something going on with your entries.... This image was a winning image of the last contest. All the images for the contests to be used once only. Thank you for your understanding and have a great day.

Hey, sorry about that. Since I'm traveling at the moment and only use my laptop every couple of days I use a post scheduler, when you post a new contest post it looks for the week number and the theme in the title and then checks if I have prepared a photo for this theme for this week. When this post was published the week number was 70 (still in the url), this is why my scheduled entry from last week was posted again, even though the title was edited later

You have some sophisticated system even though it does have minor glitches.... Have a good one!

beautiful natural scenery and cool atmosphere
