The stone bridge in Písek is the oldest preserved bridge in the Czech Republic, bordering the Otava River about 110 km south of the capital city of Prague. It is built in Gothic style. There are replicas of Baroque statues and crosses on the bridge.

This is “a classic photo” of Prague. A view of the Charles Bridge at shore of the Vltava River with swans on it, from this classic spot. I was quite happy of the light when I took this photo, since I got nice reflections on the water.

Hi Tomas and fellow Steemians. The tower of the Old city-hall in Brno offers many great views. This one is towards Spilberk castle. In front of it is St. Michel church and modern roofs of Velky Spalicek shopping palace. There used to be a complex of gothic houses which were demolished in 90's.

Monument to Charles IV is installed on the Křížovník area, near Charles Bridge. On the bridge once passed carriages. Until 1908 - the horse. Then the trams. And only from the seventies of the twentieth century, the bridge became completely pedestrian. Koim is still today. That's just slowly wander through it, admiring the surroundings you will not succeed - there is always a crowd.

Side view of the Red Chateau in Hradec nad Moravici. Built in the 19th century for the noble Lichnovsky family, the Red Chateau is often described as the most fairytale-like chateau of the country, mostly because of the main gate that looks as if it was cut out from a Walt Disney movie.

Thanks for the feature Tomas! :) Today, I am coming with something different. This beautiful traditional wooden house can be found in lush forests of the Kruzberk area in the Moravian - Silesian Region of the Czech Republic.

The calm streets of Olomouc. The early morning in Olomouc is calm and peaceful. While the streets slowly gain life we get to contemplate the architecture without any visual polution; no cars, no buses, no noise.

The ruins of Trosky Castle are situated on the top of a mountain of the same name, in the village of Troskovice in the district of Semily in the Liberec region. It is owned by the state and is accessible to the public. Debris is a symbol of Bohemian Paradise and one of the most visited castles in the Czech Republic.

This is the canal and the back of the Český Krumlov Castle. Not many people go to this side of the castle as doesn't have much to see (ie shops and restaurants) but we like going to places out of the way to see if we can find something interesting which in this case, a canel running next to the castle. It was actually a pleasent place away from the tourists and foot traffic.
Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.
