Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all excited about the upcoming weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @calisay:

Going down from Prague Castle and Paradise Gardens we stopped to take some pictures of Malá Strana. Behind the sculpture you can see St. Nicholas Bell Tower (Kostel svatého Mikuláše) a Baroque church from the 18th century.

Beautiful view of the eastern part of the Hostivar Reservoir in Prague. It is a great place for wild swimming in summer but as you can see, it is a fun place to be in winter too. There a nice hiking trail all around the reservoir but it takes many hours to walk around it. Photo taken in December 2015.

Great place! I used to bike around it.

Beautiful image! Looks like a great place to hang out. Some people might find it beneficial which makes it a great post to be featured today. Thank you for sharing! Tomas

Thank you, means a lot! 🙂 T.

I've been so busy lately but finally have time to come back with my photos! While we were up at the clock tower in Prague (we went up twice we loved the views so much), it was the perfect time when a person would play the horn. The crowds starts to gather below and see the clock move and also listen to the sound of the horn.

The river Tepla flows through Karlovy Vary, which are located on both its banks. The river got its name because of its unusual warm water, thanks to which the river does not freeze even in winter. It has an unusual smell, which can be explained by the presence in Karlovy Vary of famous thermal springs.

The Tepla River, with a total length of about 65 kilometers, flows into the Ohře River.

Panoramic view of Brno - Zidenice as seen from a look-out point on the top of Stranska Skala, an important archeological site where numerous fossils of different prehistoric animals were found. There are several hiking trails in this area, making it a popular spot for outdoor activities. Image taken in January 2017.

It is amazing to see Palava Hills during sunset. It was a little bit cold but I did not mind it. Picture was taken from a small village called Šakvice (South Moravian Region). You can also see vineyards and a small vine cellar on this picture.

In Prague, a large number of architectural attractions, where almost every house and stone are impregnated with history. It's nice to just walk around enjoying the views of this beautiful city. However, there are attractions here that you just need to visit, some will have to be allotted a whole day. From the viewing platform, you can easily see the Charles Bridge.

Praha Hlavni Nadrazi in Prague may be the busiest railway station in the Czech Republic, but it is a masterpiece of Art Nouveau architecture. It has undergone serious modernization as well as a facelift which has restored its splendor, and the end-result is a 1909 twenty-first century station.

During our honeymoon trip to Czech Republic, we rented a little room under roof in the center part of the city. One day we returned tired to the room and I as usual glanced over the window. The view of roofs in setting sun was just charming. I grabbed my camera and captured some shots. It was a little difficult to isolate the frame leaving outside wires and antennas.

Thank you so much for your wonderful entry!
