Hello fellow Steemians,
I do appreciate you following the slight change that I made to the conditions of my Prague/Czech Republic photo sharing challenge. This slight change requires adding a valuable information to your image in the length of 30 words minimum. I am going fairly strict by this rule and did not upvote the posts that did not fullfill this new requirement. Kindly do so from today onwards. Besides that there are no other changes so in order to participate you submit your image that must be your own in the comments section below. The challenge is opened up for your submissions once again so please feel free to participate.
I would also like to thank you for your great support and submitting great images day in day out. Your hard work and dedication place a major part in the success of this challenge. Have a great day and keep on steeming.

I'll be honest. As I was walking through Old Town, I considered stopping at this restaurant boat for a quick bite. The restaurant is called Marina and serves Italian food. But I was on a mission to capture as many golden hour photos as I could. No time to eat!
Well Matt, you did amazing with this one:)
Sounds familiar 😂 Photos first, everything else second!
Christmas atmosphere at Staromestske Namesti (Old Town Square) in the center of Prague on January 2, 2017. As you can see in the photo, there was some snow in Prague on that day, which is not as usual now as it was some 20 - 25 years ago when I was a kid. Sadly, white Christmas have been pretty rare in the Czech Republic in the recent years.
Yep, absolutely true and one again this year without the snow.
One of my favourite photos when we visited Prague. This was taken at Tyn Church where one of the statue is looking towards the building. It is located at the old town of Prague. Stunning!
No need to wonder why:)
There are more than 15 bridges in Prague, many crossing the main river Vltava. We crossed Charles Bridges and then carried on criss-crossing the river exploring Prague. It is a good way to not only get to many of the famous sites, but also explore some hidden treasures of the city.
Great pic as well as the information. Thank you for sharing Jaco. Tomas
Cubist Kiosk, the late cubist or rondo-cubist building dates back to the 1920s. It's newspaper and tobacco stand that situated in Prague, on the edge of the park Vrchilického sady, right by the Hlavní nádraží tram stop.
Very interesting! Thank you!
The water mill is a lovely spot by the Lover's Bridge near Kampa Park located in the Mala Strana. The interesting part of this mill is the cute statue of the water sprite , that guards this mill. It is said this statue is represents a character from the Czech Fairytales. This also happens to be the only functioning water mill in Prague
Thank you so much for a great entry.
Unfortunately I haven't any photo from Prague, but I understood, you accept photos of all parts of the Czech Republic.
Here is another photo I took during my visit to Usti nad Labem. On this photo you can see the village Strekov by the left and the imposing castle Strekov above the river Labe.
This photo was taken on a cloudy day from the platform in front of the Hotel Větruše. The unique location provides you an amazing view of the entire valley of the river Labe and the surrounding countryside.
Sure thing! Pics from anywhere in the Czech Republic are welcomed! Especially if they are as good as this one:)
Thanks Tomas.
The cemetery church of All Saints with the Kostanese is not a place for everyone.
But at the beginning of this specific excursion, the guide told that the attitude towards death in people of that era was somewhat different earlier.
The house did not serve as a monument to death, but as a reminder of a life that must be lived with dignity and beauty, appreciate every day and hour, every passing moment.
Thank you Jul for a great post!
This is from 2006. Our "World Cup" trip ended up being a whirlwind European tour with a soccer game in it (Stuttgart). Getting tickets to the games was tough. So we hit like 7 cities in 21 days, mostly flying Sky Europe when it was still a going concern. Prague was a pleasure, this is the parliament building on top of the hill by the church.
Thank you for a great pic as well as adding valuable information for others to learn about Prague.
This picture shows the beauty of the buildings of Prague. The quantity of buildings like this is really crazy. This is the street Siroka in Prague 1 (near the Jewish Cemetery) and it's probably one of the best streets to see this type of buildings (you literally don't know where to look when you walk there). I would say that the only thing that spoils the photo is all the cars.
Oh well but it is still an amazing pic! Thank you so much for posting it.
