Opening Night Gala - TIS Marrakech [Day 6]

The summit is starting tomorrow! I cannot explain how excited I am! Tonight is the opening gala. It's the night before the summit. This is where we all meet, the hosts, the attenders, the speakers, everyone. There are some really big Instagram influencers joining. I want to thank trablin for making this happen and Marrakesh Riads for sponsoring this event and throwing this awesome party!

When arriving the the awesome Dar Zellij riad restaurant, The streets are covered in red carpets all the way to the entrance. At the entrance are Moroccan musicians playing and there's a camel at the entrance.

The downstairs is really nicely decorated (see first pic). But the party starts on the top floor. Here we're greeted by the bar. We can get any cocktail we want. And this is the best bar in Marrakech, considering that not many places actually serve alcohol. It's the first time I'm having an alcohol drink in weeks. I'm having a Mojito and boy is it delicious.

I'm meeting a lot of awesome people here. A couple of them I already met on the pre tours (see my previous posts). But most of them I'm meeting for the first time. There are travel bloggers, youtubers, journalists and social media influencers. Everyone is super nice and amazing. Meanwhile there are servers running around with wine and food. There's soo much food here! Too bad I didn't get too many shots as it was getting dark.

Here's a guy serving freshly made tea. This guy also gives you a sesh (moroccan turban). There's also a fire show at the bar with liquor.

After the fire show we get guided downstairs for the main food. We all gather around the tables (see first pic). They keep serving us food and drinks. Plus we get a belly dancer show! There's also some Calligraphy going on and I get my name written in Arabic. What an awesome souvenir!

Lastly they open the door to another room where a table full of food stands! This food gets celebrated to us by the moroccan musicians. It's all super delicious.

I want to end this post with a picture of me with my sesh, the one and only Malgosia and Youssef from the Marrakech food tours. I'm super stoked for the summit tomorrow, it's going to be amazing!
