Herkese merhaba. Bu bayıldığım ve her fırsatta gitmeye çalıştığım köyü sizinle paylaşmak istedim. İzmir'in Selçuk ilçesine bağlı olan Şirince Köyü.

Hi everyone, I wanted to share with your my trip to Şirince village which I absolutely love and try to visit as often as I can. It is a village in Selçuk district, İzmir, Turkey.

Burası şaraplarıyla ünlü bir köy, hatta köyün genel geçimi turizm ve şarap üzerinden gerçekleşiyor.

This village is famous for its home-made wine, and the economy of the village is dependent on tourism and wine sale.

Devamlı turist otobüsleri gelmesine ve oldukça ünlü bir yer olmasına rağmen köy içindeki fiyatlar bence çok uygun. 25tl gibi bir fiyata karnınızı 5 farklı köy yemeğiyle tıkabasa doyurabilir, 20tl'ye en güzel şaraplardan alabilir, 15tl'ye şal, biblo, toprak kap gibi hediyelik şeyler alabilirsiniz.

Despite the fact that tourist buses keep coming nonstop and it's a very famous place, the prices in the village are quite reasonable. You can eat 5 different courses of village meal only with 25tl (approx. 5-6$), you can buy best home-made wines only for 20tl (approx. 4-5$) and also souvenirs like scarfs, trinkets and earthenware only for 15tl (approx. 3$).

Akşamları canlı müzik eşliğinde şarap tadımı yapabilir, dağ havası soluyabilirsiniz.

You can participate in wine-tasting events which take place during live music performances, and breathe the mountain air at the same time.

Tabii ki köy olduğu için birçok organik gıda satın alabilirsiniz. Ev yapımı reçeller, kahvaltılıklar, çorbalar ve daha bir çoğu.

Of course you can buy lots of organic and village-made food, such as jams, dry soups, breakfast food.

one thing that strikes me is the peaceful environment, even the cats and dogs were friendly to each other.
