Last week's show was amazing! Thank you so much to everyone who tuned in! If you couldn't catch the show live, however, you can find the recording on this post.

Sorry about getting this post out so late, those of you who have been following me for a while know that I like to push out these recap posts the day after the show, but as it turns out, I'm still recovering (very slowly) from my recent Steemit Burnout Syndrome episode, so it's taken me a few days to finally muster up the necessary personal resources to get this post out today.

I decided to make the last episode about rave totems, those creative signs or objects that you see people holding and waving around at EDM festivals. I talked about what rave totems are, the different types of rave totems, and I went into totem etiquette briefly.

After all that was said and done, I shifted into a more esoteric discussion pertaining to rave totems. I briefly went over the concept of sigil magick, and then I went into how rave totems could actually be used as sigils, and how ravers with a more esoteric understanding of the rave scene can apply their sigil totem at festivals.

Then, in my second hour, I brought my friend Tyler, @thephilosophizer, on the air with me and we had a little discussion about how we met during a Dada Life social media contest years ago, and he told us about how he got into raving, as well as how he got his rave name. Then he mentioned that he doesn't go as hard he used to all the time and that he goes to much fewer shows/events these days.

We talked about the good ol' LA underground scene from back in the day, and how cool it was to have to basically be on a quest to get the right information for the shows, and then he talked about his recent marriage and other changes in his life that have also contributed to his diminishing attendance to EDM events lately.

Of course, an episode of The Dancing Dreamers with DJ Damashii with guests would not be complete without me asking my guest what their dreams are, so we went into that subject to close out the night, and Tyler talked about how important it is to pass on knowledge to the younger generations coming up in the world today.

If you missed the live broadcast of the eighth episode of my new radio show on @MSP-Waves, you can listen to the recording below:

Thank you everyone for tuning in last week! And for those who didn't tune in, thank you for listening to the recording, if you choose to do so! But regardless, thank you for being here and checking out my post!! I hope to see you all in the audience next week.

Last week's episode featured tracks from Kayzo and Sullivan King, Ben Gold, Gaia, Vini Vici and Bryan Kearney, Kaskade, Tiesto, Dada Life, Habstrakt, Borgore, and The Prophet. Unfortunately, for this recording, I had to remove those tracks in order to get this video uploaded and posted. If you want to hear the music that I play during my shows, you'll just have to tune in to my live radio show every week! :P You can also click here to launch my Spotify playlist for this episode. I look forward to seeing you there for Episode 09!

As always, my final gratitude before I end this post goes out to @globocop, @r0nd0n, @ma1neevent, @wipgirl, and the rest of the @MSP-Waves family for helping me with my show and for the constant encouragement! You guys are all amazing, and I truly appreciate all that you have done for me!

See you all on Wednesday for the ninth episode of The Dancing Dreamers with DJ Damashii!

Rave Totems!

I did promise last week that my recap post would include pictures of some totems, so that all of you can see for yourselves what I'm talking about, so this section is dedicated to showcasing some cool totems. Enjoy!
