This THING Extends Internet Through Your POWER LINES!!! | Episode 23
I had no idea this technology existed but I needed a WiFi solution for our office without running new lines. In today's vlog, the TP-Link powerline adapter arrived in the mail so I set it up and it worked! It actually extends your current internet connection by using your existing power lines! And because we now have internet, the smart light works too!

I've been using this technology for like 7 years haha. I swapped it out for a network switch now though :)
That's awesome man! I had no idea it even existed and I doubted how well it would work! My understanding is with the new Homeplug AV2 tech it is a lot better than it was.
Yea i mean I used it about 7/8 years ago when i lived at home with my grandparents and routing an ethernet was just too much effort and wifi sucked. It done the job I mean it still lost a lot of the speed. Im sure they are now a lot more powerful than what they where then.
I've just gone all out now i have my own home and routed a network cable around my house from my router into my office and have a network switch then allowing 8 more Ethernet in my office hahah.

It's 2018 and we are getting excited about light bulbs again. haha. That is pretty cool.Now I'm going to say "OK Google, change office desk light to red" in all my videos in case you are watching.
