When I posted a shot of the Duck Pond falls and the First United Church Recently a couple of people mentioned they would love it see monthly shots or through the seasons at this spot
Well I do not have shots every month with this viewpoint but i do have a few shots in different months through the year.
The first shot above was taken In January this year.
And this next one in Jan 2015

As you can see that year we got a lot of snow which changed to solid ice
I remember taking htis shot it was so cold and deep snow over my knees that after taking this shot I heard the ice cracking that had formed in my jeans LOL
and now onto March 2014, the water is pretty muddy as we had experienced a lot of rain the few days prior to this which melted away a lot of snow so the rivers were running higher and harder than normal and washing down a lot of dirt.

And the next shot is also from March 2014 just a week later and I thought this one worked well in B&W

Then I miss a couple of months and jump to this shot taken in May 2014

and for the nest Shot we move forward to July but back in 2013

if you could only visit this spot in one season which would you choose?
For me I think I would have to go for Fall, and all the lovely warm fall colors.
As you can see some months I have never got shots from this angle, I was quite interested when I noted that but even though I generally do visit there and take photos every month, I don't take shots from this angle every month, and its come clear to me that I like different angles around the pond more dependent on the season.
An extra post today as I missed a post yesterday and this mornings post was a bit shorter than what I am aiming for at the moment

The November shot was so beautiful. The energy seemed subdued and the colors were amazing. That shot resonates with my natural vibe. Without the cars in some of the shots that setting could have been placed anywhere in the last hundred years with the traditionally built church and beautiful landscape. UV resteem
Thanks kindly 😎
It is such a charming spot year round but with the fall colors it really shines out
I love the winter shots. Seeing the way the ice builds, mother natures' sculptures. They are all fantastic shots.
THanks, I do like the winter shots, more so when looking at them in the warm summer months but this time I just want winter to be over lOL
I'm not sure it's over here or not. It's been so mild. I feel for ya. Last year we were buried alive practically
Let’s hope it’s over for you soon and soon for us
Some snow tomorrow but probably not to much hopefully
is it the beauty of the place or the camera that has a fine lens...?very beautiful #tattoodjay
The place is truly beautiful :)
Yeah, like the Fall one best. The colors are what do it for me. Maybe I've just been staring at too many snow pics lately, hehe.
LOl I think in SUmmer we may have different thoughts but also for me the fall one was my favorite as I put this together
I like the idea of a time lapse. That would be super cool. Find the same angle, maybe even mount a camera on one of the trees. Like in Enemy of the State, but without the crazy intrigue, hehe.
Yeah that is a good idea, I could charge up my GoPro and hook it u0 in the tree, will have to give this some thought
From winter to summer it looks like two completely different places... I'm from Cape Town and it never snows here, so we don't see such drastic changes in the landscape here... Thanks for sharing :-)

And thank you for your visit
We sure do have the 4 seasons, here sometimes all in one day LOL
Tip!
As much as its pretty cool to see things all frozen, I'd want to see the duck pond in any season where the water is still running. Seems like the sound of the water would be great.
YEs maybe more so as it is so cold here now but I prefer the warmer months and the sound of the water makes the spot even more magical for me
