Tech Trends : Redragon Kala K557 Review | My First Mechanical Keyboard | Donations For DSLR
Well Hello there fellow Steemians, a week back I had purchased my first mechanical keyboard and was very excited about it.
The keyboard that I purchased was a Redragon Kala K557 which has their own custom Cherry Mx Blue Style Switches and double shot keycaps.
Overview
I must say that Redragon has done a fantastic job with the build quality . Costing at merely $50 they're providing an aluminium base with highly durable plastic. It feels really premium when I type on this keyboard ... when I stroke the keys it reminds of the typewriter on which I learnt typing. The sound is really good it may be loud for some users especially those who have been using membrane keyboard for a very long time and yes, I will not suggest you using this keyboard in your office it will disturb your colleagues everytime you stroke a key.
The RGB lighting on the keyboard makes it easy to be used in dark conditions , it has multiple lighting profiles from rainbow to a single color
What is special about Mechanical keyboards ?
Well, mechanical keyboards is very much famous among gamers who want a keyboard to input at speed of their reflexes and when we talk about gamers durability is big factor. When people play games they tend to use their peripherals very roughly and if they use the basic Membrane keyboard the first thing they'll be unhappy of will the pressure applied on the keys as compared to mechanical where you only have apply 25% pressure to lock the key and secondly a membrane keyboard can handle 8 Million keystrokes where as a mechanical keyboard can handle 50 Million keystrokes.
You'll be only giving away the silence of a membrane keyboard over a mechanical keyboard
Time for some Tech Porn ... LOL !!!

Quite amazing Sir! Upvote for you! So does the keyboard typing sound like the old computer keybords, cuz for some reason I really like the typing sound of older computers.
Yes there is a similarity in sound of an older keyboard

Do you like the many colours of it? I think it is awesome to work at night with it, so there is no light needed.
Yes I mostly use the light color combo which gives lite colors to each keys and changes randomly and mostly light blue color as it feels cooler to the eyes
waw that's a nice keyboard shot
Thank you
I think it is great to work around evening time with it,
