ADSactly Tech News - Robotic Cats That Help the Elderly Reporting for Work! by @adsactly

What if there was a cat that didn't need to be cleaned up after, kept an elderly person company and helped remind them to take their medicine. Do you think this would be an asset to a loved one that found themselves stuck in a retirement home without a lot of friends?

I am a fan of real cats. They are the self-sufficient introverts of the pet world ;)

That said, for the elderly they do cause some caretaking and worry, so I can understand the drive for robotic furry friends.

SpaceX's Falcon Heavy completes final test before anticipated launch in February by @fredrikaa

T_SpaceX Falcon Heavy Launchpad 39A.jpg

All eyes were on SpaceX and the Falcon Heavy rocket yesterday as it completed its first static fire test on January 24. A static fire test is where a launch vehicle is brought to its intended launch pad to fire the engines at full capacity whilst the rocket is firmly attached to the launchpad. This is done to measure pressure, temperature and propellant-flow gradients to check whether everything is go for launch.

Isn't it an absolute BEAST? :D

Big fan of Mr Tesla, Elon Musk, and all his companies, but especially anything that gets us closer to colonizing space and off this rock!

Not everyone accepts or agrees with the use of bots so it is good to see someone explain in detail their use and motivations.

Personally, provided members here add value, I don't see the problem with getting any kind of help - we need the good stuff to gain more visibility if they platform as a whole is going to grow.

What I am not sure about is people using bots to pull money out of the pool, by self-voting thin or spam content, or posting dozens of filler posts, etc.

Not sure the headline is necessary but there is some good insight in the article itself.

Despite the inflammatory phrasing, I have found myself over-caring about wales, networking, getting the attention of the star makers, and I need to get back to just creating good content without considering what the big guys whims are going to be.

Tech Update: AI Face Swap Being Used to Put Hollywood Stars into Pornography! by @techblogger

Advanced machine learning technology is being used to create fake pornography featuring real actors and pop stars, pasting their faces over existing performers in explicit movies.

The women featured in these videos must be feeling horribly violated. That said, I also think this could do a huge amount of damage politically.

What do you think?
