Our Monthly Meal Date @ Koyaku Japanese, Tropicana Avenue
Last year my girlfriend and I decided to have a monthly luxury meal (about MYR 200) at the end of each month and we take a turn to buy each other meal. So she takes odd month while I take even month. Last week we had our March luxury meal (ya I know not yet month end, but subsequent weekend both of us are joining volunteering camp by Cybercare so we make it earlier)
She decided to give me surprise and to the extent, she doesn't even to allow me to drive as I usually the driver (just kidding). She chooses Koyaku Japanese at Tropicana Avenue, the restaurant ambient is very cozy and both of us very like the feeling. We order the dinner set as the price is quite affordable and we can choose 4 dishes includes first starter, second starter, main course, and dessert.
So I ordered California Hand Roll, Grilled Scallops with Cheese, Assorted Mix Tempura, and Macha Ice Cream. While she ordered Tuna tataki with caviar, Seafood Mini Chawanmushi, Charcoal Grilled Saba with Sea Salt, and mini parfait. Enjoy the food photo below :)
Overall, in my opinion, Koyaku Japanese is one of the best Japanese restaurants with the price tag. Definitely will come back in future to try their other food!
A simple meal that makes me smile and happy, thanks to my girlfriend. :)

@liewsc, it is near Ara Damansara, yupe I personally think Huawei Mate 9 portrait mode is really good. Food is delicious with affordable price.

Haha our monthly meal date max is MYR 200. So we won't go beyond that unless necessary. Yupe, I have the same surprise too when I look the place. Who knows the food price is affordable.
Wow, that looks like a lot of food! And it looks really good. I hadn't heard of a California hand roll before. It's like a sushi burrito. Ha ha. That's nice the two of you have a monthly date night. Looks like a fun experience for you both.
Haha, in a way yes it does looks like a burrito but from Japan. We orderd set dinner that comes with 3 food and 1 dessert. We make it monthly so that is a kind of celebration for both of us after work hard for the month and is time to eat some thing good to treat ourselves.

Yupe, the cheese on top of the scallop really delicious! Only 1 scallop per plate in dinner set. You can order more in their ala carte menu :)
