In today's "past travels" series I want to share pictures of one of the most beautiful journeys I have ever had. It was a journey with my mother, stepbrother and stepfather to Iceland in the summer of 2010, a few months after the eruption of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano. Since I have so many beautiful pictures, I decided to make 2 posts out of it (the second part will follow in the next days).
Iceland has definitely one of the most beautiful and interesting landscapes I have ever seen. Ranging from beautiful green meadows and giant waterfalls to black volcanic landscapes and huge icy glaciers. For me as a nature lover this was almost like being in paradise. I remember that I felt very connect to nature and although traveling with my parents I was really relaxed ;)

In der heutigen "vergangen Reisen" Serie möchte Bilder von einer meiner schönsten Reisen, die ich je gemacht habe, teilen. Es war eine Reise mit meinen Eltern nach Island im Sommer 2010, ein paar Monate nach dem Ausbruch des Eyjafjallajökull Vulkans. Da ich jede Menge schöne Fotos habe, entschied ich mich 2 posts daraus zu machen (der zweite Teil wird in den nächsten Tagen folgen).

Von wunderschönen grünen Wiesen und gigantischen Wasserfällen bis hin zu schwarzen vulkanischen Landschaften und riesigen Gletschern ist alles dabei. Für mich als Naturliebhaber war das fast wie im Paradis. Ich erinnere mich das ich mich sehr zur Natur verbunden fühlte und obwohl ich mit den Eltern reiste sehr entspannt war ;)

I've heard so many amazing stories and seen so many beautiful images of Iceland that i am definitely travelling there on one of my trips with the camera. I have a couple of friends who have been visiting it and all of them say that it is awesome country. I'd need to buy one of those small drones for the trip too i guess, they have those fascinating landscapes..
