If your friends don't think your crazy... something is WRONG!
We all want to have a great life and most likely would like to live a memorable full one. So why would we want our friends to think we are crazy?
When we are going about our lives and not turning heads... what does this mean and what are we accomplishing? What does it mean when people say things such as... That person is into such weird topics, they have way too much energy, why are you working so hard in life?
Status Quo
When nobody is saying these things about you, then chances are you are staying in the status quo. You are doing what everyone else is doing and are "normal" in regards to the output in life. Nothing stands out to them so you must be doing what has already been done.
To achieve anything great in life, we must go outside the status quo, to change the normal in today's society. This is how anything amazing is created, by moving away from the pack of normal. To create something meaningful you must do things differently. That is the only way it will get noticed and you can create a massive impact because you will be at the fore front of innovation.
Comfort Zone
Again, if others do not think you are crazy, you might just be in your comfort zone. This will never create a highly meaningful life as we are not pushing the limits and trying to reach our full potential.
We must get out our comfort zone to be different, to maximize our performance and most likely the average person around you is not doing this. They will ask you why would you do such a thing? It will be too difficult to become a professional athlete... Why are you pushing yourself so hard?? Take a break, relax more, you do not need to work so hard in life.
Others will want you to stay in a similar comfort zone because they do not want to see you do more than them. It might make them feel guilty or less worthy. Chances are you need to find new friends then and be around more people that understand why you strive for more and why being "Crazy" is awesome!
Be Different
Being different or unique in the world is a massive benefit to your success. You will be a trendsetter, an innovator, and more than likely, memorable. This will get you to stand out from the crowd and get noticed. Getting attention is one of the most important aspects to success and that will bring you more opportunities than you could ever imagine.
You will create more friendships and be recognized while most people are miserable and hidden there whole lives.
Being different will allow you to be your true self. Not only will you know exactly who you are but you will find out exactly what you want out of life, with a higher chance of massive success.

This is so true, @bitdollar! Nothing ventured, nothing gained! Life is so much more fun when doing something new, or challenging one's previous experience. Sometimes you just have to cut your own path, and after awhile you realize that others are following you. That is an indication of success.

We are definitely considered crazy by our friends and family. ;) Ha! Moving to Panama, homeschooling, homebirth...just to name a few. It's not cool to be different for some people. It makes them uncomfortable if you do something your own way or don't follow the norm. But you have to live your life. Great post! :)

Lol - Thanks! Yes, there was some time there when EVERYONE was telling us we were crazy...or something similar. We might be, but we are happy here. ;)
That is all that matters and what we want. Love that! :)
what i do with others that may act or seem a bit crazy and in general different is to try and have a deep conversation of a single matter and watch carefully how they reply. ofc i am not a psychologist or something so there isn't a right or wrong answer but i can understand the dose and value of craziness they have

Ain't this the sad truth! People are afraid of judgement and hide who they really are. It's sad.

I agree pal! I have been told crypto is super risky and that I shouldn’t involve myself in this sector, but new ideas always seem risky at the beginning.
We just need to be properly informed, and follow our intuition, even thought we sometimes might look crazy, because that doesn’t matter.
Yea because once they are around for a while and accepted by main stream... they always say, why didn't I look into this earlier?? :D
Being crazy is outstanding, but then again we are defying the odds, what if someone calls you weird? is being being crazy weird or being "so call weird" crazy??? The last time i call myself crazy was when i was working so hard i fell sick, Gosh, talk about being crazy alright
