Freewrite.. Wait whaat? Mix ๐๐ Hahaha
I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend and Easter my fabulous friends ๐ค๐ฃ๐ฐ๐
I have gotten a question a few times about... Why don't you ever do a freewrite?
It might surprise you but I actually have, and many to. I even made one on the celebration of the 100 ๐๐
It was a great experience for me and even though I know my freewrite were very different from the others and I sometimes was afraid to publish.... Sweet @mariannewest was amazing and supportive and I realized that I didn't have to be a poet or writer to do a freewrite, and anything was allowed... Especially to be ourselves and do our own thing. This was way out of my comfort zone and it forced me to break out.... It changed a lot for me and today I'm not afraid to take a challenge no matter what it is ๐ that was a BIG step for ME!
So what did I write about? Well most of you know I don't plan my posts as it never ends up as I planned anyway ๐
I also love to mix my posts and looking back at older posts I can se the pattern in them to of mixing things... Lol
Just didn't realize it back then!
One in particular I found among my freewrites that proves the weard mix, is this poem ish that starts pretty well I think.... But then got a silly twist at the end and makes me wonder ๐ค Where was my head? ๐๐
I don't know it's name as I don't se any fit,
So I call it... The hidden night!
The hidden night!
Sunset fades away, hides behind the curtains.
Disappears in the night, in a black hole.
The moon rises, and shows its shining face.
Reflects the beauty of the water, and wakes the nightly life.
A bat from a near by cave, flyes out on hunt at night.
Search for his batfriend Robin, and together they protect the world.
The moon, the night, the darkness it holds.
Protects it all!
๐๐ Hahaha.. OMG
You see what I mean? Like batman? What did that come from? Talk about ruin a poem ish..Lol
However it made me learn things about myself and for one... I love to make people laugh and one freewrite that I still can't belive I wrote was one that definitely made people roll.... Also my reputation was at stake... ๐๐๐ Hahaha
The prompt was.. The smell within!
What was the first thing that popped up in my head? FART!

It also allowed me to open up, and I made one that was the hardest post I've ever written.
Totally exposed myself and reading it now makes me realize how far I have come, and it feels like looking back at a shadow of myself.
I use to feel connected to her still, but today I feel so different and I know I'm much stronger than I ever knew ๐ I'm proud of myself!

I made many more freewrites, but those were the ones that stood out.
It doesn't take a writer to write, or a poet to write poems.... That was for me comfusing, but today I understand what @mariannewest meant โค๏ธ anyone can do it... Just do it YOUR way!
That's another thing that's so amazing, the many people we meet on our journey that pushes us and belive in us when we don't believe in ourselves ๐

A bonus share is the one story I am really proud of, and I never had more fun then with this one ๐๐ hahaha

I also wanted to add a challenge post I made and one I'm proud of.
Before all the freewrites I wasn't one that gladly took on a challenge... But after I realized again that if I do it MY OWN WAY... I can do anything!

I'm always blown away by what comes out of peoples' heads when they do freewrites- I love your poem :) (almost as much as I love you in your bunny ears!)

Wow you totally got the writing Bug this Easter - loads of lovely writing and I do remember a great deal of your freewrites and of course the legendary ๐ฆ๐จ
I hope you have had a lovely Easter, and shared your eggs with Bobby although not too many or he might end up ๐ถ๐จ
Anyway I hope you havenโt got burnt to bits like me, my right arm is stripping the paint off any surface I go past at the moment.

You should give it a try for sure, it's fun writing and you learn a lot from it.
