🙌🏽Sublime Sunday🙌🏽 An excuse to post your random, creative or crazy ideas by @c0ff33a ☕️
Welcome to #SublimeSunday a tag presenting you with the unique opportunity to post something a bit different, wacky, crazy or just whatever takes your fancy and instigated by me @c0ff33a ☕️
First up though is a #beautifulsunday (hosted by @ace108) photo with a #funkyedit (hosted by @krazypoet) with Saturation to the Max.
It has been yet another boiling hot day in the UK, this photo was taken at 7.30pm driving home from my Dad's! Still so bright and sunny though with hardly any clouds.
The day started with a drive of course, and I hit up those backroads again.
The horses are having a good time at least.
I snagged this picture from the upstairs window before setting to work putting the second coat of paint on my Dad's spare room roof.
While I was busy painting I got a few discord notifications and one was @katrina-ariel saying I always made her laugh. So I replied saying she would really laugh seeing me up a ladder painting a roof. Then @malos10 said he would like to see a picture of me painting so of course I obliged.
At this point @katrina-ariel points out I am painting a Ceiling - which to be fair she is perfectly right about. To me it is the roof of the room, but really the roof is the top of the house so I can see the confusion, although we do not tend to paint our house roofs in the UK so it would already be a strange thing to imagine someone painting. Then @thekitchenfairy the Witness helpfully pitched in suggesting I was painting in the Nude - now it has been hot enough to maybe wish to go without clothing for the sake of keeping cool - but honestly nobody wants to see my flabby old man bits on display - least of all me!
The clouds cleared a bit, and after our Sunday roast it was time for heading home.
I stopped off on the way home to grab a few extras photographs for this post, I'm getting quite into this floor level angle.
And another middle of the road shot, I hope you all appreciate me risking life and limb to capture these road photographs. Behind me is a blind bend, I had to rely and my decidedly shot hearing to alert me of any cars coming from the behind - this road is a bit of a rat run and they don't like going slow on it.
Talking about not going slow, the Audi in the clip above was racing so fast through the housing estate I was driving through he nearly lost it on that little S bend. It's blind as well, so barrelling upto that at the speed he was going - if I had been 30 seconds further up the road he would have hit me head on - no way he was stopping at that speed. More importantly this is a housing area with plenty of young children playing out on the streets and fields, as we all know kids are not so mindful of the roads as they can be - only takes one to run out after a ball while this idiot is flying down the road.
The full driving footage if you would like to view it
And to finish off a #FunkyEdit by @krazypoet
I'm afraid no time this weekend to fit in the Vlog post, it takes so much time to include all the posts and I don't really like making it too brief. Maybe next weekend I might have a little more free time. You can watch the vlog video below though if you wish.
Of course there was a little football match yesterday, @saffisara was all prepared in her Haturday and 🇸🇪⚽🇬🇧 post, I'm not a football fan but it seems some of the usual top teams have all gone out early - possibly all been nobbled by sampling the local delicacies of the the host nation (Vodka)

The greatest challenge we face on Steemit is getting our posts seen, I have always believed the simplest and best value way of doing this is by commenting on the blog posts of others, the more you engage people and interact with them the greater the chance they will visit your own blog and return the favour. Other then spending all my free time commenting on Steemit posts, I also distribute coffee roasting machines and also espresso coffee machines and roast my own Speciality Coffee Range. being one of the premium coffee suppliers Yorkshire

Thank you for dropping by and letting me know, I'm pleased you enjoy my #SublimeSunday feel free to share your own.
Beautiful post @c0ff33a!! I've gotten to see so many awesome photos today including these!! Loving the #funkyedit on this one too!! 😊
Thank you very much, I'm not so great at photography but throwing in the unusual seems to make them more interesting - and you have to admire me for risking getting run over to take an unusual angle!
You're very welcome and yet another reason to admire you!
@c0ff33a,
It takes a true raconteur to turn "driving to your dad's house to paint the ceiling" into an interesting story. Nicely done. :-)
BTW readers: I can think of no one on Steemit more worthy of being a Witness than @c0ff33a. He's got my vote.

Thank you very much, you came back to share a few more verses. It's all have to work with - what I do week in and out - so it get's thrown together in a post. I'm not particularly creative but try to make up for it with enthusiasm!
I've always wanted to do a road trip in England. I can now say I've done just that and I have to say, I enjoyed every kilometre @c0ff33a aoart from that very close call. I was the best back seat driver you've ever had wasn't I?
Didn't even make a sound when that Audi came way too close for comfort. Which part of England are these images from btw? Great blog and thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Thank you very much, we have a very green and pleasant land to drive around - well not right now it's a bit scorched but it'll be raining again soon to green it all up. I'm in Yorkshire, which they class as the North of England because Scotland is seperate - but as you look at the map of the United Kingdom I'm pretty much right in the centre of the land mass.
The story is good but dam the photos are awesome!
Keep it up.
Thank you very much, I'm pleased you enjoyed it.
Love the backroad drive. Rob. The part I saw of England did not have all the wonderful nature scenery...it was London. 😊
Painting in the nude, eh? Showing old man bit parts. 😂 😂 😂. Maybe I read that wrong. 😂
Ah, it is such a shame so many who visit England just see London - to be perfectly honest that is the worst we have to offer. Incredible scenery in Scotland and Wales, you can't go wrong along the South coast with Devon and Cornwall, the Lake District and Peak District - we have some incredible scenery.
I had a sleeveless shirt on because it was super hot - and I think the angle was a little unfortunate!
What a cool idea! Love your photos and videos and especially love the amazing colorful image. Did you do this?
This post was upvoted and resteemed by @thethreehugs
I used an app for the colourful image - it is called PicsArt and you can many varied filters to completely change any picture into something quite unique. Thanks for calling by, it has been a long time since I called on your blog - I must rectify that now :-)
I will have to try PicsArt! I love doing creative things with photos. And thank you for your wise comments..I hope to do better too at calling on my supporters.
better structured impossible I love the painting .. and as you have all the article is very original in its form and especially in its content .. Greetings and my respects.
Thank you very much, I'm guessing you liked it?
Sometimes, I missed the summer that make for good long days.
Thank you - Summer can be wonderful but it's a little too hot for me at the moment!
You're welcome
