First up though is a #beautifulsunday (hosted by @ace108) photo with a #funkyedit (hosted by @krazypoet) with Saturation to the Max.
Oh I do like to be beside the sea-side...I just wish I didn't have to drive there after a week of driving for work. Oh, and it took an hour longer to drive there thanks to an accident shutting the motorway on the opposite carriageway to the one I was on - which slowed my side to a crawl so everyone going past the accident could have a good look - seriously?
And yes it is #SublimeSunday on a Monday - because all that sea air was quite bracing and to be honest I ended up falling asleep early last night.
When I say bracing, what I really mean is blowing a damn gale!
It was busier near the pier's - but I couldn't blame anyone for wanting to stay out of the coastal winds - I think my face got totally exfoliated with sand.
Blackpool has some really funky artwork on the buildings when you head inland.
It's amazing really that art can be produced so perfectly on such a large scale.
This Lion is particularly cool.
Obligatory Blackpool Tower photo, and no I'm not going to the top to take a photo from up there for you.
Don't let that blue sky fool you, it was brass monkey weather with the wind.
I still have no idea what these flappy things are supposed to represent on the sea front. Anyway, that's all the photos I took because it was too cold and I spent most of the time walking far too much while I was there. I left the family enjoying the seaside until Friday, I had to come home today because of work -_-

The art is really neat. I like beach/ coastal areas but i get more tired when near them so I'm likely to go to sleep earlier. Maybe there's something to it?

a beach walk is only good in theory in the winter or on a day winter would admire. I live across from the beach and I tell you, the wind can get a going and then it is escape up the hill to the city for some warmth.
Loving those shots. The murals were superb, escpecially the big cat made of yarn. Clever:)

Thanks for sharing your photos and braving the cold to share them with us! I've never been to Blackpool and was always jealous when kids from school used to head off on holiday there. Hope your sandblasted has recovered- nice dollop of moisturiser perhaps?! 😁

Thank you very much, sadly Blackpool is starting to show signs of decline - you don’t have too move far from the sea front to find boarded up run down buildings mostly long closed guest houses. And going between the different piers the rowdy groups of hen parties and stag do’s getting steaming drunk are very obvious in numbers.

Such blue skies and no enjoyment in the water such a shame that's England weather for you by the time summer comes it snowing again..lol.
I do love good graffiti work that first one is awesome. Well i do hope get a couple of warm days if not let me know i will FedEx some hot air over to you...hehe :)
Thank you very much, I know the whole week it’s been overcast with showers! Kind of crazy Easter we had four days of scorching hot sun cloudless skies and now it’s June it’s cold windy and wet!
