Painted tree in the shade
When you are in the area of Valence, you really need to visit this place. In the Drôme region of France, it is a place with lots of remains of the Roman empire, and as most of the cities an villages in the South of France have, narrow streets that are amazingly picturesque. Hence, this photo. A wall of house has paintings of a tree and a man looking out of his window on it.
The nice part is, in the middle of summer this tree is always in the shade. As it would burn from the heat? who knows.
It is lovely!
