Creativity is an energy. It's a precious energy, and it's something to be protected. A lot of people take for granted that they're a creative person, but I know from experience, feeling it in myself, it is a magic; it is an energy. And it can't be taken for granted.

This is a photo from my trip to Oaxaca for Dia De Los Muertos (day of the dead). All day and night there were festivities throughout the city. Marching bands, theatre, dancing.

One of the things Oaxaca is known for is the art. There are amazing muralists, painters, graffiti artists, musicians, etc.

O! Let's not forget performance art. I saw this act once before at a music festival in Oregon.
The performer was wearing a completely different costume. He was dressed as an old monk.

I love this. It really brings wonder and magic thru to the audience and makes me feel like a kid again. I had to stop for a while just to enjoy being in the presence of the mysterious feeling.
