The Village Girl In The Big City Part #1
Hello Steemian family! Hope you are doing great out there. I'm back!!!
It was late in the afternoon when the village girl left home, her holiday was over. It's time to go back to work and earn some money for living. She was sad that she had to leave her loved ones. She had a great time in the village. She spent most of her time in the garden, cooking, walking in the woods, doing simple things together with her loving family.
Her work place is very far away from her village. This city is very busy and very noisy. The village girl is not used to the city anymore. People walking, rushing without looking in each other's eyes. Everybody is with their own devices, listening to something or just don't want to be bothered.
The city is big, different from her village. It looks perfect in the city and very modern, men and women dressed beautifully, very formal and very fashionable. But she loves her own fashion too, simple and comfortable a bit different than others but she feels pretty the way it is.
She took the train on her way to work. The train is full, different people and different nationalities. She wondered if they came from other villages as well. Some read newspapers and everybody has his own world. She don't have anybody to talk to or nobody says "Good morning."
She went to the corner and found a comfortable sit. She took her pen and paper and started to write a letter to her family and friends.
She misses her village and her loved ones. But she's looking forward to see them again. Her work assignment is only a few weeks and she will see her family again.
This village girl is me. It's time to go back to my work, my holiday is over. I am thankful to have a job, it's a flexible job. After few weeks I'll be home again to see my family. I love our small village in Bulgaria. It reminds me of my village in the Philippines.

I live in a big city, Hong Kong, crowded and noisy. So village life is good for people to think more about life and building good family relationships.

We live in a city, but it is small and light traffic for driving.
Life can be hectic sometimes here though.
We also own a Townhouse in the Caribbean.
On the Island life is slow and laid back.
I like the Island best!!
