"Chapter I: Monday"

In a certain kitchen on a certain Monday morning. We see a strange person, happily humming to a tune in front of the stove This strange person is Sir John. He is humming because it's Monday and Sir John absolutely loves Monday. Why you ask? That's because he is Sir John! No other reasons needed.

Carrying on! Standing in front of the stove we see Sir John carefully frying some eggs.

"~There, there thy lovely eggs. Don't get burn on me now." Said the humming Sir John.

"Just a little more... and wala! The perfect sunny side ups, are born! Ah! Yours truly is such a genius." Said the boasting Sir John.

Turning the gas stove off. He put the eggs in a plate. Suddenly.

Tiiing! Came a sound from the oven.

"Oh? It seemed that thy bread is ready as well." The chirpy Sir John said.

Opening the oven he puts the bread in another plate. Along with the eggs he place them on the table. Then with a serious face he went to where the coffeemaker is located.

"Mr. Coffeemaker ye always takes too long to brew thy coffee." Complains Sir John.

Yet there is no response from the coffeemaker. Exasperated he continued.

"Last time there is even a bean left in thy cup. What do you say about that, Mr. Coffeemaker?" Questions Sir John.

Again there is no response from the coffeemaker. But as he is about to continue berating the poor coffeemaker. He heard the ring from the doorbell.

"Ye manage to escaped again, Mr. Coffeemaker. We shall stop here for now but thy coffee better be ready on thy return." He said while leaving.

Leaving the poor coffeemaker alone. Sir John went towards the door.

"Who dares disturb thy breakfast?" Sir John grumpily asked the person behind the door.

There was a long paused, before a guy's voice was heard.

"... Is this Mr. John? I am here to deliver today's newspaper" Said the voice behind the door.

"Who is this "Mr. John"? No one with such name lives in thy house" Sir John answered.

"What? Isn't this house no. 1XXX? According to the address this should be the right house..." The newspaper guy confusedly replies.

"Thy address is correct, but no Mr. John lives here only Sir John." Come a reply from Sir John.

There is another long pause before a voice is heard again.

"...So, are you Mr. John?" The newspaper guy asked again.

"No, thy name is Sir John!" Sir John said irritatingly.

"Ah! ...Yes, yes I'm sorry Sir John!" Replied the newspaper guy, panicking.

This strange conversation leaves the poor newspaper guy confused and almost in tears. He had never encountered anyone who refuses to open his door to him just because he called him Mr and not Sir.

This is because Sir John will ignore anyone who calls him in a name other than Sir John. Not even his co-workers and boss in the office is exempted from this.

"Good! So, why are ye looking for thee?" Sir John asked again.

"Like I said earlier, I'm here to deliver your newspaper." Reply the newspaper guy.

"A moment." Sir John said.

Click! The sound of the door unlocking is heard. Opening the door, Sir John saw a an unfamiliar boy about the age of 14 or 16 standing at his doorstep.

"What's thy name? What happened to thy lad who usually delivers thy newspaper?" Stepping out of the door Sir John asked the boy.

"Hello, Sir John. My name is Kevin. Daniel requested to be transferred to another block so I was assigned here instead." Replied Kevin politely while handing the newspaper.

"Is that so? Then good luck to ye. Here is thy tip." Taking the newspaper, Sir John took a dollar from his wallet to tip the boy.

"Thank you Sir John! I apologize for bothering your breakfast." Replied Kevin.

"Breakfast? Ah! Thy food must have turn cold by now! See you around lad. I shan't be seeing you off. Mr. Coffeemaker better do a proper job this time, or it won't hear the end from thee." Said Sir John as he hurried back inside.

Sir John's reaction caught Kevin off guard. Especially the last sentence he said.

"Mr. Coffeemaker? Do a proper job? What does he mean by those words?" Confused, Kevin went to next house.

Back in the house Sir John quickly inspects his breakfast. Seeing that the food is still warm he let out a sigh of relief. Putting the newspaper on the table he went to the coffeemaker for his coffee.

"Mr. Coffeemaker is thy coffee ready?"Asked Sir John.

Taking the container, he poured the contents into his mug. Putting two tablespoons of sugar he took a sip. After taking a sip he spoke.

"Tis passable but it could taste better, Mr. Coffeemaker. Ye should work harder." Comment Sir John.

After acting like a coffee connoisseur. Sir went back to the table to eat his breakfast and read the newspaper.

Finished with his breakfast. He put the plates away. Putting on his coat and taking his keys, Sir John leaves the house. Unlike the majority of people who dreaded Monday, Sir John leaves for office full of energy. After all Monday is Sir John's favorite day.
