Ok, one of my goals on steemit is to collaborate more with you all. I absolutely LOVE the people that I've met through here and all of you are so wonderful. I just want to get to know more and more of you on a deeper level.
The community here is out of this world amazing. You guys are incredible... like freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, but with less calories. 😄

Let's write a story together about...
...GOLD!!
I've been on the hunt for gold lately. I've been thinking about it a lot. And the past few days, I've been thinking about pirates, mermaids and treasure chests too, so it kind of has me feeling all adventurous and golden.
Yeah, these are the things I think about 😆.
Anyway, I'll start of the story, and then you guys finish by replying in the comments with 2- 3 sentences!

Alright, here it goes! I'm going to start the story off in the comments!
This idea was inspired by Mene investment jewelry, mermaids, treasure chests, and a feeling of wanting to do something fun with my fellow steemians.
The crash happened out of nowhere. No one could have known that this was coming.
The smart Steemians who had purchased Mene 24 karat gold jewelry charms were already prepared for this. By owning pure gold, the paper value that had evaporated over night in the stock market and the bank bail ins did not affect them at all. They started using their Mene to trade each other for....
Beans and cornbread. It was the only food available and while gold was pretty, their bellies were empty.
Still, once they were satisfied and the merchand mentioned a cursed treasure, their eyes lit up with curiosity. They never heard the cursed part...
... apparently they were to find out that they were not the only ones who loved gold... Pirates who sailed the 7 seas loved gold AND beans AND cornbread. The pirates weren't affected by the crash at all, all their assets where in ships, cannons and treasures. One such pirate was called Goldbeard...
One fateful night, when the waves crashed against Goldbeard's ship at sea, his crew alerted him of a strange occurrence. On the air floated the smell of cornbread, and at the horizon, a small speck of golden shine could be seen. He felt the waiting song of Glory and smiled, his golden teeth shining under the moonlight.
Lighting up some of the wooden remnants of the shipwreck as torchlight, Goldbeard decided to see things for himself, and under the thick darkness of the night, the fire 🔥 radiated nothing but Gold as he makes his way to the discovery with his mouth left ajar 😂 brandishing his Hard earned Golden teeth.
As the ship slowly approached the glistening yellow object, it was as if it awakened. The hump of gold started moving! What part was showing above the water submerged below the surface but more was coming out of the water to take its place. Almost like the motion of a... snake?... SCALES! "Thar be dragons, Cap'n" yelled the deckhand from the mast.
I don't know how deep we can go but I like gold more than silver. Do you know why gold turns it color to black. We are facing this problem. The 24 carat gold turns in black. Can this happen because of too much impurities added like bronze.
... He had appitite for only one thing, "Gold". Recent crash and the mayham caused by it has provided him with an excellent opportunity to make his ancestors proud...
Nothing beats aura created by gold for it is the currency of the gods. The pirates has seen it all, language of the world is known to them.

Risks in life is like death, no one know the time nor the exact hour it will come, so we are happy and greaful it was updated right on time
Out of the bunks came a haggard, half drunk pirate named @thedamus. While all of the other deckhands cowered in fear of the golden dragon, @thedamus unsheathed his trusty sword named #ssg and with one mighty blow, lobbed off a huge chuck of the golden dragon's tail.
The dragon slithered away and the deckhands all went to work chopping up and weighing their golden booty.
