Here's another essay in photos.
This time, a sneak peek at progress (or lack thereof) on the Magic Mirror prop for an upcoming production of Beauty and the Beast.

The Magic Mirror is one of three exotic props,
all three of which I must deliver before the end of the month.
At one point in the play, heroine Belle gazes into the mirror and sees her father Maurice. At another time, she sees the Beast.

Working on the project has cut into my Steemit time.
The Magic Mirror, as I've imagined it, looks similar to the movie prop. However, for theater, it also contains some bright LED lights that will illuminate Belle's face when she throws a concealed switch while gazing into the mirror.

But there's a real surprise inside.
Embedded in the mirror case, I'll have a Kindle Fire 7. At the appropriate moment in the scene, Beauty Belle will activate a video of the Beast, and hold the Magic Mirror up for the townspeople (and the audience) to see. Something tells me the audience will be surprised.

The design is very cool- looks like it's big enough to tell that it's fancy from the audience. Hamilton didn't have much in the way of props, but they did have a giant turn table in the stage that they used to cool effect!

More major progress on the Rose today, thank God. Still so much more to do...
The base is printed and is usable. Tomorrow, God willing... Assembly of wiring, etc. and some testing. :D
