I had begun to fear and foresee a failure...
God had other ideas.
Today, in God's kind providence, I tried out "yet another approach" to a problem I've been having that—for all too long—had seemed intractable.
The Liberty of the Open Sea...

Now I'm finally out past the rocks,
feeling the liberty of the open sea.
I've been struggling with a commission to build three rather complex props for musical theater. One day soon I hope to share some more specifics. For now, I'm thankful to feel that I've overcome the last, most fearsome problem.
Thank you, all my Steemian friends, for your prayers, kind words of encouragement, and good thoughts.
It's time to celebrate with another haiku.

To let you know @creatr my account was hacked and they got my SBD. 663 of it. They also got my steem tokens. i was able to get a new master key and saved steem power although my vote is worthless at the moment. Apparently they sent me to a site Stewitt.com and i thought I was on steemit. Damn i think thy are cashing in on block trades. i wish I knew how to get it back. ANY SUGGESTIONS???? I was able to retrieve my acct at least and SP through two people. Thanks @creatr Troy

Offhand, I know of no way to recover a theft like that. This is why such caution is always urged regarding protecting your keys and being sure that you are not on a "phishing" site... :(
I'm glad you recovered your account and that the built-in mechanisms at least have protected your Steem Power...
I'm so sorry for the bad news. And, trust me, I know how it feels. One day I may write the story of my vast loss at Mt. Gox...

As usual, my posts are somewhat scattered and fly around from topic to topic.
I'm working on some props for musical theater, and the task has turned out to be much more involved than I had originally imagined. I'm still having fun, but have gone through some struggles lately.
I couldn't agree more with your truism... I am often my own worst enemy!
