How To Make A Proper Proposal

The biggest question of for a man to ask and for a woman to answer is "the proposal" of course. Noone could have an objection to that i suppose. It's a proposal to live together, share everything including your bodies, your time and your ideas. As a result of it, you expect a blissful home and healthy children. So, some of people find it crucial and some of them find it trivial. To me, it was a really important thing to make my future wife happy.

When our relationship at its 5th year, i was observing substantial changes on Ece's behaviour. She was practically linking up everything to marriage. For example, one day we were walking in a park and saw two cats licking each other. She suddenly stopped and started to stare them. She told those exact words:

• Even they had married and taking care of themselves. I would have clean you up if we were married.

Women...

Let me tell one other memory. She was studying at open university and had exams. I took my father's car to tkae her into the school were exams will be executed. We went out about one hour early to 15 minutes distance. As an Istanbul tradition, we got into traffic jam and arrived 5 minutes after the exams started. She run into the building, complete her exams and got out 1 hour later. She came by me, look inside of my eyes and yelld loudly:

• I we would have had a baby by now, i wouldn't have been harassed by exams like that.

How do you link up those two?

As you do understand, life is going to be more and more hell alike to me. So, i started to think for a proper proposal. Even Ece would have want an original proposal no matter how easily liked she is. She wouldn't have accepted any proposal and asked for a new one. And i was not have so much time becase i really started to get bored from her uprising wedding screams.

First thing to do was finding a diamond ring. Any men fudges this part and finds a casual diamond ring. I have some words for those men: Bravo, you have just ruined you day. Your future wives going to put an and to your miserable lifes.

Diamond ring is essential. So i had to find the right ring. Those rings are same to men, but when you get into their world, every one of them is another story. Every design is for different kind of fingers. Queen cut, heart cut, oval cut etc. Briefly, there were various designs of them and i should have found the most appropriate one. I approximately searched for 1 month, saw hundreds of ring designs and picked one among them.

After ring part, i came into the tricky part: An original proposal.

Ece likes daisies. She were asking for a daisy crown since our first year. So i planned like that: I call over our best friends. We go to the nearest grove to make some nature walk. After some walk, i go back to car and take the box daisy crown inside and bring it to Ece. Ece opens the box and daisy crown probably drives her crazy. She falls on my neck. We pose and our friends take some of our pictures. Then i take out the ring by stealth and make the proposal. If she doesn't pass out, i bet she shout while say yes.

Well, everything went as i expected. Except the part she said yes. She said "i would" instead "yes" and pick a Gollum look on the ring. She didn't even let me put the ring on her finger, did it herself. And keep looking on her at least for one week.

So that's it. Everything went well. She liked the proposal, adored the ring. And most importantly, she said "i would"! That was what all those grinding work for. And we were one step closer to marriage.
