Interesting place on my country #30: The old Estonia`s Mine Company
Beautiful not so more, but definitely interesting are The old Estonia`s Mine Company.
Since 1972 year the largest oil shale mining in Estonia, as well as in the world. The mine is mined at the depth of 40-70 meters. As of 2010 annual report of the mine is a about 5,5 million tons. In the case of such extraction volume, the mine will continue to stock up to another 30 years , now reserves only 180 million tons.
In term of the depth of his mining, the mine is unique among oil shale mines in the world.
These old machines was not so big what we saw. But they working day by day.
The mine about 600 are underground workers and about 400 are on the earth workers.
