The steem blockchain has been more like a saviour to me. Through steemit, I opted out from committing suicide. I resisted that dreaded idea conceived out of depression, frustration and lack of funds. Steemit gave me a second chance to live and I've seen a need to extend this experience to many others.

Poverty to me is the worst thing you could ever wish anyone even your enemy. I've seen several poor persons face extreme difficulties that ardevice nable.

#SteemWarAgainstPoverty is then a project or campaign to pioneer the possible eradication of poverty through steemit.

Vision

To see a world where people are financially free, living above the one dollar per day mark and having the necessary funds to carter for their basic needs.

Mission

To build a strong army of honest and broad hearted steemians on the steem blockchain who will not only fight poverty but as well popularize steemit.

Due to unemployment and lack, Steemit has come to be a job
and a need to many developing countries.

Months ago, it was a campaign
and a conference, creating awareness and reaching out (even though the fall in SBD made it difficult for me to continue the rally around the country and to the world).

The account @steem-army will he launched in days to come to foster and portray this project. It will be used to curate quality articles of steemians earning below $1 consistently on their posts.

Many out there are dishing out great articles and yet are unable to make enough earnings from it. Many across the world joined steemit with the aim of achieving financial freedom in a legitimate way and @steem-army is going to help them fight poverty.
