I really enjoyed this walk! Yes those peppers are so pretty! I know what you mean about tomatoes...store bought verses homegrown...huge difference! I did not know that zinnias were edible! I need to grow some mint!

Everything looks so fresh and lively! Beautiful garden of wonderful goodies! You all are doing excellent work and it’s going to be so beneficial for your family!!!

I am so excited to garden this year! After so many failed attempts that did not succeed due to lack of time, I think, we are really focusing on it this year and so far it is WORKING! Some of the tomato buds opened yesterday! I cant wait to get fresh tomatoes!!! :D

You’re welcome! I bet it feels great to be able to set the time aside to focus in on and take care of your garden! I LOVE tomatoes! I eat tomato grapes for snack!!

WOW your plants are doing so well, there is nothing like home grown salads they always taste the best

Love all the fresh beautiful greens growing,
On the mint I remember MY dad who was a great gardener, had his in a confine area because as I understand t it grows almost to well and will take over any area it can get to

Yes, mint will for sure take over wherever you plant it! Mine is all in pots or buckets for that reason, and is thriving there, so I think I will continue that route. ;)

Arent the salad greens so pretty? I cant describe how satisfying it is to EAT the salad every day that we grew with our hands. Its pretty wonderful. :D

How exciting!! I'm so jealous for those tomatoes..having a garden forever in the midwest and now in Florida, the tomatoes are horrible here. I truly miss them. You'll be having lots of mint!!! :) Love your garden @squshysquid!

Haha I always have more mint than I know what to do with! I actually put it in the salads as well, just to use some up. Its a little weird in there...

Sorry that your local tomatoes leave something to be desired. ;) Maybe sometime you could try growing your own...

Oh, they are looking so awesome, all of your veggies! Especially those pepper flowers! They are so very pretty, aren't they!??

I always plant flowers in my gardens. LOL And yes! Zinnias are edible as are dandelions! Put them to good use, right???

The mustard is beautiful as it falls back to the earth that gave it life. How poetically appropriate. Wonderful garden and thank you for sharing it!

Yes, I dearly love flowers in my garden too! My husband always asks when I say Ive planted some: 'but, can you EAT them?!' and in this case, we CAN, haha! But that's not the main reason Im planting them... ;)

Mint is one of my favorites as well! It will grow when all else fails, and makes a lovely tea, or just eat fresh.

Is there such a thing as a phase of life that is NOT super busy? I am 62 and beginning to wonder!! I try to maintain balance in life and keep some time to just sit and do what I want (like Steemit) but some days just don't lend themselves to balance.

I am finding out what everybody older that I am already knows: as we age, it takes longer to do things. So even though I am doing less things than I used to, it all takes longer. So I am still busy. But I am finally learning to not let my to-do lists run my life, and I am realizing it is more important (to me, at least) to spend time with friends and family than to have a perfect house or yard. Not that mine ever was perfect, but I keep lowering my standards.
