Since jumping into Steemit I've become more involved with the community. This is the coolest thing going online and it's only getting better.

I have:

• Started Open Mic Night - a contest for musicians and singers to enter and win Steem/SBD
• Chatted with, read, upvoted and followed countless Steemians
• Started curating for SteemTrail - SteemTrail is a curation project, like @curie, for building up new users and categories on Steemit

When I first heard about SteemTrail, I knew it was a good idea and wanted to be part of it.

The SteemTrail proposal provides a two phase approach that is aimed at user engagement in the curation of categories/tags, and increased voting of users across the platform. Correctly implemented, SteemTrail will organically grow each category/tag(s) by providing incentives for those who vote consistently and seek out new members to support the category/tag(s) they prefer.

The members of the community want to engage. They want to feel like they are part of the growth and success of steemit.com and STEEM, so they help current curation projects by submitting posts on other authors behalf. SteemTrail allows each member to support post in categories/tags they like, and more than likely post in. The members just need a more specific project to focus on. And in doing so, we will see organic growth take place right before our eyes. credit

If you write original, quality posts about these topics, I'll be looking for you everyday on these tags to find content to curate for SteemTrail.

• Stories that entertain, are humorous, insightful, unique or fun

Post Rules

• Post must be original
• If quotes or images are used that are not your words or images, proper credit must be linked back to the original source
• Posts must have the proper tag to be selected for example; gardening tag must be the first tag if it is to be selected for curation in the gardening category
• Preference for selecting will be placed on newer users and newer posts.

Though I can't be at my computer 27/7, so I may not find every good post that comes through the feed, I'll be looking for posts that readers would enjoy.
