With only 50 dollar to start, Tom began playing poker online at the age of 17 in 2004. He chose the moniker “durrrr”. After three years of practice, Tom ended 2007 up by 312,800 $ . By 2008, Tom was considered one of the top online grinders on the planet, with “lifetime” winnings (at the ripe old age of 21) estimated at 5.5 million dollar. By the end of 2010, he was up 3.3 million dollar just in that year alone – eclipsing his 2,661,781 $ in live tournament winnings to date.

Still living in his hometown of Edison New Jersey, Tom dropped out of Boston University to play poker and now travels the world to do it.

Support SteemSports Ultimate Vote Betting … together we all can win!

How to Play

  • Vote on the main post to enter the bet (main post rewards will also be added to the Stake Pool).

  • Cast your Vote Bet on ONLY ONE outcome for which you bet on for the win (Multiple comment votes will be automatically disqualified by the script, unvote and revote counts as multiple votes and will be disqualified).

  • After 24 hours, the post and related game comments payout to the pool; remember 25% voters rewards are deducted from the total post payout value first as per Steem curation rules. Voters are rewarded in standard fashion in proportion to their Steem Power holdings.

The Stake Pool:

  • The remaining 75% of the total payout is paid out in 50% Steem Power and 50% in liquid currencies, the latter now varies in payout ratio after the new fork. To make the process less complicated, we have decided to use all paid out SBD to buy Steem in the internal market to create a grand total Steem Stake Pool.

  • 30% of the Stake Pool will be retained, of which 15% will go to the writer/sports presenter of the post, and the 15% balance towards editing, development and advertising.

  • 70% of the Stake Pool will be held until the event/game outcome is determined.

  • Once the winning outcome is determined, we will execute a proprietary developed script that will divide and pay out the Steem rewards equally, using the Power Up method, to Mass Distribute SP to all participants that voted on the main post as the entrance fee as well as voted on the correct comment representing the winning outcome.

  • Only participants with a Reputation of 35 or more will qualify to earn SP rewards, but non-qualifiers can still vote and comment in support of the redistribution initiative.

  • Entry cut-off time is the earlier of the post payout or the start of the event.

  • @steemsports in the unlikely event that when the Stake Pool is divided up between the winners and the nomenclature resolution goes below the third decimal place (example: 0.0001), then Steem decimal restrictions won’t allow a payout and the pool will carry over to the next game.

  • Please vote responsibly :).

I played steemsports 3 times a day for a week and havn't received a single reward. I know that many of my bets have been winning ones. Is there any problem with payments?

Your reputation was a 17. Now it is a 31 (I just upvoted you)! From now on, you should be able to get your rewards if you win. Good Luck!

I got you up to 34, but you need more posts or comments to upvote.

Without upvotes, your reputation will not rise, and without posts or comments, I cannot upvote.

Reply to this and I might be able to get you over!

Antonio Esfandiari - One time!

I think that you need to be a 35... you are only a 31 rep now...

Let me see if Papa can help.

Thanks man, appreciate your help!

I just upped this comment, so now you are officially a 35!

Papa cares!

I just bumped you to 34... but you need more posts or comments to upvote.

I can't bump you any higher until you make like 3 more comments....

Ok here is one comment :) Thank you V much

You are officially eligible!

You actually need a rep of 35, did you get downvoted alot before to be at 17?

I did get downvoted one time by a whale because she didn't like my point of view,

ANTONIO ESFANDIARI

jet-setting Antonio “The Magician” Esfandiari

Seriously, is there any question at all? This isnt even a match. Esfandiari is a fantastic player (and certainly far better than I am) but hes not a top tier pro HU pro by any stretch of the imagination. Durr is certainly top tier. You could make a strong case for durr being one of the best HUNL players out there.

I guess that's why the Triad is willing to stake Timmy, errrr Tom ... (allegedly). ;)

Incredible share!!!... I've been playing poker over a decade and dealt card for 9 years. Glad to get to see this post will be tuning in to watch them go at it when it airs.

interesting ))
