Your hosts are @coruscate and @maryjaney. We are two sisters using the Steem blockchain to chat about our life experiences and provide a little entertainment value to the Steemit Community.

This was a super fun episode! It was definitely a little different format than we usually have! You'll see below that we have way more questions than usual! We were able to blast through a few of them pretty quickly, while some of them lead to some pretty interesting discussions.

What is the Steem Sister Show All About?
We aim to bring more “non-crypto” related content to the Steem Blockchain. Although there is nothing wrong with this kind of content (@corsucate even posts on crypto related material sometimes) – we want to help create a better onboarding experience for new users. We talk a lot about attracting new users to the platform – but if the trending page is filled with crypto posts and flagging wars, they are likely to lose interest quickly.
We hope that by creating content that is more similar to what they are used to seeing on other social media sites – they will feel more excited about being here and creating content of their own!
How Does It Work?
We pick a different topic every episode, and then throw totally random questions about that topic in a hat and go back and forth. We always have a mix of our own questions and some audience questions. Our rule is that we cannot tell each other our answers before filming! So you guys are getting our raw, unfiltered reactions here.
Every episode we announce the next week’s topic so people can submit questions.

I know that our whole "thing" is to bring more non-crypto content to Steemit...but we are 48 episodes deep and thought it was about time we chatted about our favorite place to hang on the internet - Steemit. So the focus of this episode is going to be "Upping Your Steem game". Take that how you will -but really any questions you have on improving your content, engaging with your audience, or just about understanding Steemit in general will be great.

I Just love how you guys bring fun on to the platform, I'm sorry for lagging behind for sometime and for not being as active, I'll strive to do better in terms of engagement, promise.
My Question is;
Do you guys think one has to corner themselves to a specific niche as a video content creator or can we be jack of all trades and excel at it? What would you say your niche is @coruscate? I ask because for the longest time I have been looking for a niche but I find my interests are too diverse and I don't feel like I'd wanna corner myself to a specific niche. I document anything and everything depending on that moment's inspiration. What's your take?

Questions about upping steem game?
My biggest question to you both; how did you go about building up the following that you have? I mean, was it through the tedious process of just continuing to post and gradually building up, or was there a specific method and approach that was dedicated to drawing in people?
On that line - what do you find the best method to draw people into engaging in the comment sections? Offering prizes has been a benefit, it would seem, but what would you recommend to the minnows to help get some conversations going in the comments?

Can you please share us how you manage your time for Steemit? I wonder when you take the video, write the article, and leave some comments for your followers. What's the rule? What are the do's and don'ts in running your account? I really curious about this. You are both included as two inspiring persons in Steemit journey.

Thanks for answering my question... the trick to my question was that with $100M you could probably fund a whole lot of change and charities in your year... but in 100 years you could probably do so much good. Hahaha, great flip Lea, of course I totally don't mind which country you spend your 100 healthy years, and I would totally pick a Denmark or Germany or similar!
This episode is so good! Who knew would you rather would actually totally teach you about people! I think the main thing that I learnt here is that Mary is super ready for a holiday...
