SteemQuest is an ongoing and growing RPG world here on Steem. New players are always welcome. Players can come and go as they desire, just let us know when you are leaving (say you are taking an IRL 2 week vacation) we will make sure your character is somewhere safe until you return (or Thunk may just cover you with leaves on the side of the road)

The party walks through town heading towards the bucking mule. After some walking the party comes upon the row of tavern’s & inn’s. It seems quite lively
Khan lags behind a few steps, avoiding to have to order the drinks (and pay for them). Looking around as if scouting the street he notices the mage they had encountered before turning the corner.
Thunk checks out the tavern. It’s full of a variety of people. Thunk heads over to the bar and orders a keg for the group. After hauling it to the table he realizes Khan is missing. Thunk sticks his head out the door and sees Khan talking to a mage.
“Hey Khan! Get yer self in here and bring yer friend. I’ve got a keg waiting for you and I can smell Grim cooking up a meal for us. Mmmm sure smells like some good eating heading our way tonight”
Dang. I seemed to have lost my coin pouch. Thunk !search around the bar for his lost pouch.
You search the surrounding area and you find ticket to battle at the arena
dammit.
i was looking for one of those.
Khan listens to Thunk and invites the mage in. " You look like you need a drink. Come on."
“I see everyone has a drink. Grim must be cooking up a storm in there’, Thunk points his chin at the kitchen. “Sure is smelling good”. Thunk sees Khan and the mage enter and pours them both a pint.
Thunk looks at the newest members of the group, “If your gonna drink my ale you have to give us a good story. Tell us about yerselves. You sure seem able to handle yerselves in a fight... but you seem to get a bit soggy doin’ it”. Thunk laughs and gulps down his ale and freshens it up with a new pour.
Thunk pulls out his newly found ticket and whispers to Quaid, ‘Hey Cap’n. I can’t seem to read this..uh..got some bone dust in my eyes..uh, yeah...that’s it...bone dust is makin’ it hard to read the words. Can you tell me what it says?”
Mage: Greetings fine elf. I see you are more civilized then your roguish companions.
Where are my manners. May I offer you drink ?

Good day @rolld20 see what a have!. oping up the chest fill of frog legs. do you have a fryer a can borrow and maby some potatoes. fryed frog legs and French fries.

The staff of the bar let’s the dwarf through and assists with the prepping of the dish.
Whilst the rest of the party is busy drinking and having fun whilst watching Grim cook up a storm.

She leans towards you across the bar and says “I heard they are bringing back frog jousting on Wednesday’s at the battle arena”

Quaid sniffs the air. "Yep, smells like frog legs in here. We are definitely in the right place. Spread out, see if you can find out from a waitress or barkeep where they get them from. We'll track them back to their source." Quaid will chat up a server and ask about frog legs. Personality is +0! @rolld20
“Wait...what? I knew that smelled familiar but I... Hey Quaid! Come here. I’ve got something we need to discuss, er... private like”. Thunk tells Quaid that since Grim is in the kitchen he may actually be cooking up the forbidden legs. “Grim’s memory ain’t too good ya know. He just sees ingredients to cook with. He may not remember where they came from. Let’s go check out what he’s doin’ in there.”
"GRRRIIMMMM!" Quaid runs into the kitchen.
OOC: Although I just checked the last post. It said it was a crate of "Frog Legs." So... @simplegame, are those frog legs or frogMAN legs?
OOC: frogMan legs so someone is importing them.
They do not seem to be illegal in this town
The waitress says,
We get a shipment once a week, from the merchant guild. Don’t you get your supplies from them ? They supply the whole town.

Zur grabs a pint from Thunks keg and takes a seat at the bar.
