TEMPLO LETRAS.png

 Introduction.

It's complex to understand how our world society is adopting social media as a communication tool in the daily routine, using it in case, being it so widely used, that even state representatives, presidents, monarchs and even town majors use these tools to communicate important news and general interest information that could become international news or just go viral, but it's even harder to understand how the society that accepts the use of these tools does not receive any kind of reward for being part in this process, more than just some “likes” or opinion exchanges, as these are the elements that on the long term, define what goes viral and what not.   No, i can’t understand that a platform which rewards the users for their interactions, is unable to reward it's users proportionately to the social life level they are sharing, and that being linked to a crypto asset, the fact that the decision to putting our trust on it is depending on the analysis on the previous values of the asset, with societies with theoretically strong economies like the european, north american, or asian, which are using it on different various levels, it now seems that the platform’s growth has been slowed down considerably, to our perception, it seems that there is pessimism in the Steemit’s climate.

 Spanish.

Is the language in which @Templo has been moving until now, it's more than obvious that only one country is moving Steemit as it should, and even easier to notice that despite the fact that its national currency has no significative value against the american dollar or the euro, the interest for the platform has decayed, Venezuela is the one responsable (not directly, but still responsible) of the success of the content in spanish , and thanks to the curation project, and witness @Cervantes, as a direct responsible of allowing this beautiful and educated country to have enough visibility to be noticed, but there is a problem in reciprocity between this society that has created and shared thousands of writings, pictures, music, and endless content, the witness (@Cervantes) that took on the task to help hispanic users discover this, our platform, if you take a look at the curation reports, you will find that they barely reach 0,15$, if you take a look at the curation trail, then you will notice that from around 200 votes, only 10 of them bring some liquid reward to the author that is being supported, in other words, this association does not benefit the main benefactor in any way, this means that the community itself doesn’t grow, it is mostly maintained by a couple projects and the one that keeps them together is @Cervantes, who besides curating content, is also delegating on a daily basis thousands of SP to small projects like us as we try to promote the spanish language while adding our own effort on the equation trying to connect the english users to the hispanic users giving them both visibility through our curation reports to help users see steemit as a global tool, and recognize the need of reciprocity on the rewards.

 Problems.

We have to find a solution, with the last hard fork we achieved a fix to two of the many problems, the first being that users understand the importance of their SP, as a resource to vote, comment and interact, but still we are achieving nothing if we don’t comment with meaningful information, as this is what really gives visibility and make things go viral, so maybe, that would be the point of steemit, as to make viral something in the platform, now users have to think twice, should they comment on fellow authors or content producers, or post their own article?. Bots, that's the second problem that was fixed, and those steemit antagonists got discouraged, as the rewards those days after the hardfork were 50% higher than today’s and they are still reducing each day, this greatly hurts the credibility of the system and there seems to be no solution because there is no way to identify a bot account that it's only purpose is to take profit without putting the effort a real author does, it is really hard to find out which account is ran by a human and which is not, but if we achieved this, there would be a lot less accounts and the rewards would be a lot better for everyone, there is no sense i losing thousands of $, every post i do, gets filled with bots that take part of my reward and we got to stop them right now, maybe what we need is just some monthly updates that change enough variables to make them unreliable, like, for instance, changing the time required to claim rewards to one month, this would make rewards go back to the authors and manual votes, maybe this would make real users a bit unstable but i would accept it as long as those bots aren’t able to take as much cash from the reward as they are doing today, this would require changes and manpower, but if a platform and its users are interested in becoming successful, there would be no way in achieving that without changes and the funds required to start these changes and solutions.

 @Templo.

 Project.

Born as a curation project via an important and selfless delegation by the witness @Cervantes, that was also bolstered by a second delegation, for a total getting closer to 9K SP delegated by the same witness, also to this delegation the @Templo founder added a 6K SP delegation from his own account, and lets not forget about the small delegations that have been received by a delegation-upvote process to return the support to the users who are willing to help the project, of course, that's as long as their posts are an example of good quality content and is of interest for the platform users, this takes us near the 20K SP, the project had an exponential growth since it was born, allowing us to vote 30 posts daily, even allowing us to divide the topics and categories of these posts, with 4 days focused to the arts and its disciplines, one to the nature, another for love and respect to animals, and one day for generic and mixed content as all the topics deserve our attention, this way, @Templo project’s structure is organized as:

  • Mondays for @Templo Nature.
  • Tuesdays for @Templo Film and Theater.
  • Wednesdays for @Templo Photography.
  • Thursdays for @Templo “A mix of everything”, which is oriented towards mostly free topics and random themes blogs.
  • Fridays for @Templo Literature and Music.
  • Saturdays for @Templo Art and Culture.
  • Sundays for @Templo Animals and Pets.

 Activities.

Besides everything we stated earlier, we took the task to cover other needs via contests to help the users to get visibility to their content and be able to reach higher levels, we have launched the contests @Templo ArtUniverse that on the first issue we dedicated towards the manual or digital drawings, in which we support the winners with liquid rewards among the 4 best posts with a static amount collected before the contest, adding a variable part, from the amount collected by the contest promotion post, we don’t have an external sponsor yet, for this kind of contests but still the interaction with and between users has been interesting. As good as we have another issue prepared for this contest, and will be oriented the written arts, we noticed that most blogs and their content are oriented towards written arts, poetry, prose, narrative, all of the literal disciplines, so without any hesitation we decided them to be the next area of interest to support.

 Discord.

Growing steadily, we are 300 active users, we are constantly performing activities with rewards to encourage the interaction even further with other users, and even other platforms, we had to include moderators to be there when new users need help, and to answer their questions and guide them however and whenever they require help, as we spend a considerable part of the time helping, upvoting and supporting the content users share in our promotion channels.

 @Templo’s objetives.

We are looking forward to obtain the attention of the spanish community, and thus, the european community to encourage them to join our platform and the Steem blockchain with everything it has to offer, it was around a year ago that spanish users joined us and contributed high quality content in the culture and art categories mostly, but also including some daily news of high importance and quality, they helped to make our country be known and interacted in wonderful ways with other users, having always in mind their SP, this allowed them to grow constantly and provide upvotes with a constantly increasing weight, as their posts increased in quality, but this did not correspond to the english speaking users as they reached further than spanish users, this discouraged a considerable amount of spanish users, some of them even left unannounced because of the disparity between the reward and the effort put in the content creation process, it is needed to offer a vote of at least 1€ to keep the spanish but also european users interested in the platform and the way it works, to make them talk everyone around them into steemit, getting new members all across the south of Europe, more particularly Spain.

Support request to the community.

@Templo draws upon this humble post to request help to all witness accounts, whether they are european, asian, north american, and those users who are kindly known as whales that always support projects and ideas to make Steemit grow, to at least follow our curation trail on a low voting weight to help our votes to have a stronger impact and give a lot more support and reward to those european users where an upvote that is not big enough, won’t encourage them to grow on steemit, and talk to their relatives and friends about steemit, and encourage them to join us, so we can all help each other grow, even in places where there is a notable difference in value between their local currency, the €, and the time they would invest in the platform, steemit requires us to stick together, and do collective efforts with the help of all of you, i’m willing to recruit content creators from my country, Spain, and try to offer them an attractive reward with the help of all of you, that's why we are working harder to support Art, music, films and theater, photography, nature, and we are voting spanish content, and english, at this moment we could help as an additional curator in their communities, as we are voting around 30 posts daily, with your support, we will add a custom message, to comment on the supported users, to let them know that the support they are getting, is thanks to your help, as we will be reporting our curation tasks daily in both languages, which will help us to reach a higher number of users while showing our gratitude for the help you would be providing us, i beg you to think about this idea, and if you can’t delegate to our project, at least follow our voting trail to help the content we are voting daily.

Always grateful to @Cervantes project for being the first witness to believe in our good will and for considering the importance of the goal we want to achieve, and for realizing that not only we are asking for support, but also we are offering the teamwork needed to give credibility to the cause, having this in mind we are now asking for your time and support of all of you, and we beg you to remember and keep us in mind for everything good we could all achieve as a team for this awesome platform.
