Are you a programmer!?!?!?!
Coding and programming has begun to deeply interest me. After being around crypto and all the intelligent people I've met, its beginning to strike me that technology is the future. Whether its AI, robots, digital currencies, digital footprints on social medias or the booming FANG sector, it is now widely known that technology is having the greatest impact on the world since the development and release of the internet in the 1990s- 2000s. One may be wondering why coding is so important and enticing. Well, frankly the engineers and developers are in full control of projects, make great money, and can be truly independent.
Final Say
The typical perception of a coder is an anti-social, intelligent tech guy. I have met and worked with quite a few great programmers and they all have impressed me. For example, a buddy of mine is a great programmer and truly understands flaws within certain cryptocurrencies down to the fundamental technical roots and specifications. Another buddy is an absolute wiz at math and codes algorithmic bots and knows more than a fair share of languages(coding and verbal). All I'm saying, is these two people have been some of the smarter people I've ever met in life.
The main point is that lead developers essentially are in the drivers seat of the entire project. They can choose how to design a website or how to make a bot. There is creativity and freedom in code. Thankfully, many projects are open source and you can find them on Github. This makes for a great starting point and editing tool for reviewing others code and improving it.
Money
People enjoy money. Everyone wants more. Its a fact(almost), and many people seek high paying, six figure jobs by becoming a CEO or attending grad school to be qualified for these high level jobs. The beautiful thing about coding is: coding jobs pay great. There is an abundance of demand currently and I do not see it going away anytime soon due to the constant usage and development of our current technological world. There are freelance opportunities as well as spots in large tech companies available.
Independence
There is a high level of independence and liberation to being a coder. First, if you are a freelancer or not attached to one specific company, it is very likely that work is remote. This means programmers can work from anywhere they please. Now, does this mean beaches and booze? No, but there is a sense of liberation to being able to go where you want when you want.
All in all, I wanted to present to you all a few reasons why coding is extremely interesting. If there are any programmers out there willing to help a new guy out with some tips and tricks feel free to reach out to me on Discord!
