Happy Saturday SteemPh Fam!

Our Arts and Crafts Saturday writer/curator is away on a short break this week so I figured I'll take this opportunity to write a much needed News and Update post.

Feedback on the new daily curation topics

It's been 3 weeks since we began our new curation format and personally I couldn't be happier with our writers. The last few weeks have been a dream and it's been amazing to have these guys on board.

It's also been great to see more engagement in SteemPh not only through our posts but also on discord. I reckon that deserves a big group hug!

That said, we are still getting used to the new format, and we are only at the early stages. If there is anything in particular you would like us to feature, or perhaps there is a topic we need to consider please let us know.

On a personal note. Do you think I should carry on making new post covers every day or should I standardise it with a general design across all topics?

I've been trying to feel my way through it and I'm still on the fence. I love the look @olaivart has created with her column.

Here you can see she featured and incorporate the works of @adrnhpyo, @joyrobinson, @gailbelga, @arrliinn, and @iamqueenlevita.

SteemPh Footers!

GOOD NEWS
I'm thinking of bringing the free footers back.

BAD NEWS
Everyone will need to officially register as a member, once registered you will then be added to @SteemPh's 'following' list.

The very awesome @quochuy has kindly agreed to set this up up for us so we can automate the footers on our discord server.

Once registration is complete only registered members will be able to retrieve their footers from the server. Unregistered members will not be recognised by the bot and therefore will not be issued a footer.

Watch out for the registration post and more details on this in the coming week.

And if you have a spare witness vote please consider @quochuy. I've met the guy in person and he's every bit as nice in real life.

New SteemPh Discord Admins

It's that time of the year again and we are due for new discord admins!

Please nominate at least 5 people for the position by sending @cloh76 a DM with the names of your nominees.

Voting starts today and will end in 2 weeks (August 18 2018).

The top 5 nominees chosen by the community will be our new admins and will be in charge of moderating the server until the next round of voting.

This is the second call out for admin voting so please make sure you cast your votes in with @cloh76 via DM on discord.

Enter this week's My Favorites competition

@Romeskie has done a great job with the competitions these last few weeks and it's been great to see engagement increase. I felt like I've learnt a lot about you all and South Korea lol.

Special shout out to @cradle for recommending A Korean Odyssey. I finally finished it yesterday. I cried my eyes out and I'm signing a petition for a season 2!

This week is all about FOOD. If you haven't entered yet do it now!

Give me your fave recipe, bonus points if it's super easy or a slow cooker dish. Yours truly is judging this week and I'm down to try something new and recreate your favorite at home.
