STEEMIT PHILIPPINES UNIVERSITY ROADSHOW
There's a solid proof that nothing is impossible. Anyone can win the game with the right purpose as long as they love what they do and the work together!
Another exciting Steemit promotion & meet-up take place yesterday at University Of The Philippines, Diliman. Thanks to the unity of Steemph's core for letting this successful event matter. Brace your self Steemians… ang mga iskolar ng bayan are coming on board soon!
First photo with Twinny haha our tawagan from daldalan days over Discord. She's lovelier in person I learned a lot of things about crypto during the 11 hours... yay!
The program started with a speech from major visitors of Machine Design Event, one of them was Mr. Jake Isidro Managing Director, Wyeth Philippines.
He shared personal experiences, endeavor, sacrifices in the fields he performed before reaching his present achievements. That ignited the spirit of engineering students.
From Steemph core, @luvabi and @dreamiely presented Steemit on the stage and explained the platform to the youth. On stage, @luvabi has introduced @steemph well by sharing the different activities that have been and continually contributed within or even outside of the Steemit platform. As a result, the students are even more surprised to learn that the rewards given by the platform are used to support different types of community, charity works and list of good deeds goes on…
Some of the students asked questions that's been immediately answered by @dremiely. Questions like how to cash out SBD? Does the value of SBD to Dollars change? And where the profits of Steemit bloggers came from? She also provided basic cryptocurrency information and how trading works.
As the two ladies speak at the stage... @grazz, @tpkidkai, & @kuminga distributed flyers to the audience. While @wanderlass was busy, broadcasting live session on her Dlive account that posted on this page. @greymonolith and @wilbejel have taken pictures that can be seen on the links that I will put on the bottom part of this blog.
Upon the completion of the program, most of the students are interested in signing up, they provided their profile information needed to build the accounts. Without a doubt, expect them to be engaging on this platform in near future!
Luckily, Mr. Delburg Mitchao was also at the event he discussed Diwata-1.
Diwata-1 is the first Philippine Microsatellite, designed and build by Filipino Engineers from the DOST-Advanced Science and Technology Institute (ASTI). They collaborated with scientists and engineers from two Japanese universities. One the reason behind this project is to photograph aftermaths of natural disasters. Diwata-1 was launched to the International Space Station(ISS) March 23, 2016, and was deployed into orbit from the ISS on April 27, 2016.
