We were staying at Hennan Regency Boracay Resort. This hotel is a waterfront property right on White Beach in Station 2. The famous White Sand beach of Boracay is separated into 3 stations. Station 1 is more of the upscale hotels and is generally more quiet than the other stations. Station 2 is where D-Mall, most of the bars, and majority of the tourist nightlife is located. There is a mix of upscale 4 star resorts and 3 star hotels. Station 3 is where more of the economical lodging is located. So needless to say, our resort was right in the middle of all the nightlife action!
Attached to our resort is Waves Club. You can rent a hookah outside of the bar and people watch, or go inside the air conditioned dance floor area and dance to a mix of top 40s, 90s, 80s, or house music.
There are numerous bars in station 2 and 3 where you can watch fire dancers, listen to music, and smoke hookah. We love to meet other vacationers and one night even met a couple who we chatted with all night while we sipped on drinks and watched fire dancers. We love meeting "vacation friends." We met this couple at a bar past D-Mall (I can't remember the name) but we found out they were also staying at our resort.
One of our favorite restaurants is about a 2 minute walk from our resort. It's called Don Vito's Italian Restaurant and we have gone there everytime we visit Boracay. They have excellent entertainment. They have singers, musicians, fire dancers, and they even encourage audience participation. They have an indoor restaurant but when it's a nice night, I suggest eating right out on White Beach in front of the brick and mortar with your feet in the sand.
There is always something do any day of the week in Boracay. There are so many restaurants to explore on the island, outside of the touristy area as well. Weather you are looking for a good bite to eat, people watching, dancing or singing there is a place for that in Boracay!
