I will use the $8 to buy some summoner cards to upgrade my summoners... And this should give me higher chance to win more battles. And I got to finish more daily quests and got more cards... And I may look into selling some cards (haven't really think about the details yet).

This is a fascinating contest, and would love to document one way to make some money.
I would go to the local Goodwill Outlet and buy stuff. I'd then sell it on Ebay, turning it into cash again. My target would be to turn the $8 into $80 in sales.
I'm not considering the transportation costs, which are around $3.50, and the phone and data costs of around $1.30 a day. I'm also not including the cost of doing laundry - I might do that by hand. I am not considering the value of utilities or housing.
I'd also consider collecting cans to make up the $5 for the transportation and phone.
I've done this before, and am mostly unemployed, and using it to reduce my burn rate while living on savings. Here are some receipts from the outlet.

I would use the $8 to buy some trash bags and then put the rest in my gas tank and then drive around the city collecting recyclables to trade in for money. You can get $30 to $40 for around 6 bags full. you then have more money to work with. Some people do nothing but recycle and make good money

you get 5 cents for bottles and cans 20 cans or bottles gets you $1 usd. 200 cans or bottles will get you $20 usd. There are a lot of people who just throw them into the trash bin so you just run around until you have a good amount and then cash it in! (I have a client who saves all their recycling for me and I make an Extra $30 to $40 a month from that)
I will raise it up to $20 for my one month internet connection ($20 for 1GB everyday for 30days) and be more active on Steemit with musing. I earn $1 on average for every answer that I give there.
This will be a huge investment for me as I believe we going to have a better Steem price in future.

I'd buy coffee which would supercharge my thinking ability and make my fingers move really fast across a computer keyboard and I would write an epic steemit article. In doing so I would turn that $8 worth of coffee into approximately 0.40 cents worth of Steem and SBD. And I would be happy to do so.

Thats always been my strategy
I would sell them to a friend in reality, in exchange for that proportional amount in btc! Then with those satoshis I would increase my capital in a trading that took just over a week to operate, with a single currency, only buying and selling daily at crucial moments. A constant exchange between btc and the currency, with the objective of obtaining more and more coins and more satoshis.
This I do, for an important capital that I lost in a currency to hold at a bad moment. A week ago I decided to look for the way, and at least in the week I doubled the amount in $ I had. No doubt that those $ 8 would help me get many more profits, if I continue to operate correctly!

I do not consider myself a successful trader, I only look for a lost one! and I have done well, but I can not sing victory, trading is a dangerous game.

I've lost more money in hold mode :( too much this year!
