With less than 24 hours before the official start it seems Steem Lords is now in full swing with players making their way to the rally point - even though no one's sure where that is, the pull of Excalibur is so mighty, no one really cares.
For those who are still wondering WTF is going on I'm going to try and explain it. TRY because I'm not 100% either and if anyone should have some semblance of a clue - it should be me lol so please bear with me.
WHAT IS STEEM LORDS?
It is a challenge created by @sirknight for the Steemit community, it officially begins on Tuesday (TOMORROW!) August 1 2017. This new challenge has a rather magical mystical theme to it with a mash-up of worlds and characters. If you have taken clues from the event graphics and wallpapers you'll notice the journey begins in Westeros (GOT), then into Middle Earth (LOTR) as the players traverse the magical lands to find Excalibur.
WHATS THE POINT?
Have fun, make some new friends, bounce off each other and make some steem!
HOW LONG DOES IT GO FOR?
I would guess between a week to a month. It all depends how it pans out.
HOW TO JOIN STEEM LORDS?
We currently have 6 teams for this event.
Do we even know if we will be using the teams format? Nope.
But just in case we do or you just want to join one of the Teams. The names are pretty self explanatory. Pick a team and DM or comment on their post to express your interest OR just comment on this post and I'll refer you to the right contact/team.
Team Australia # teamaustralia - The fastest growing and tightest group on Steemit. For Aussies world wide. Contact @choogirl our Recruitment Executive and resident warrior to join.
Team GB # teamgb - Led by Lord @tremendospercy the Magnificent is truly magnificent but seems to have a way with the ladies. Or he steals the ladies away?
Team USA # teamusa - Led by @swenger who seems to have mysteriously disappeared. We heard a call out for HELP weeks ago but he has not surfaced since.
Steem Silver Gold # steemsilvergold - Led by @hgmsilvergold is one of our newest teams. He is accompanied by @steembusiness & @silvernova.
The Nomads - Our only temporary group created solely for this event is represented by the mighty @nenad-ristic who was last seen preparing for the journey ahead.
Steem Philippines # steemph - Introducing the longest standing Filipino community on Steemit led by @tjpezlo, joined by @dreamiely and co. These warriors are a force to be reckoned with... if they end up coming to the party that is.
Once you have picked a team feel free to join in the shenanigans by using the tag #steemlords.
Please only use the tag if your post has relevance to the event.

I have no flipping idea.
WHAT DO WE DO NOW?
Carry on with your "Journey to the mysterious Rally Point" travel blogs until we figure out the next few steps.
Read all the adventure in #steemlords so far and hit that follow, upvote and resteem button.
Join in the fun and try and include the other players in your story. Get inspired by their story and perhaps continue it on or elaborate on it. I know those are my faves so far!

Our night together was memorable regardless of any other authors attempts to interrupt. I will be long gone by the time any Criminalian drongo rocks up as I have an important mission to perform prior to going to the rallying point.
