@steemkitchen "Picks of the week" from the SteemKitchen community (Week Ending 10/08)
@steemkitchen will choose 5 recipes from our community using the steemkitchen tag each week and feature in our weekly "Picks of the week" post.
This feature is to encourage our users to improve on their content and recipe posts and to have an incentive to produce the best recipe collection from across the world in one place.
This feature will also in time stand as a benchmark and example for all the users of SteemKitchen to aspire to.
Here follows our latest edition of recipes:
- Our first featured post is by @joyrobinson.
I bought some fresh ”Almeja blanca malla” or white mesh clams in the supermarket and when I got home, I transferred the clams to a container with ice so it will keep it’s freshness before it’s cooking time. Making a clam soup only takes 15-20 minnutes. You don’t want to overcook the clams and I also added some carrots and potatoes chopped in small cubes to give my clam soup a bit creamy and more tasty.

Ideal for children's snacks. Gluten free, lactose and without casein. The mix is super versatile, can even be used to make hot cakes or mug cakes, this option is suitable for celiac, diabetics and special diets. It is economical and easy to prepare.

I made two tone Blueberry/ Strawberry Banana Yogurt Popsicles using only three ingredients - Double Cream Strawberry Yogurt blended with a frozen Banana till smooth, half reserved for Strawberry Banana flavour; Blueberries added to the other half and blended till smooth.

- Our fifth and last recipe for this week is by @crypticat.
Today on Cooking with Crypticat we're going to make flatbread pizza. This is a very fun dish to prepare that is great for the entire family 😺 flatbread has less carbs than your standard or thin crust pizza and it complies with other dietary restrictions.
