Steemit Sandwich Contest Week #82

This is my entry for Steemit Sandwich Contest Week 82 hosted by @jaybird.

I had a craving for Brie all this week so I decided to make sandwich with brie.
When I was thinking of something interesting to pair with brie, my oldest daughter mentioned pepper jelly.
Mmmmmm...pepper jelly...I love pepper jelly....sweet and spicy yumyum.

So, here are the ingredients of my sandwich today.

● I bought a loaf of green olive bread today...Mmmmmm...I love green olive.
● I thought it’s a good idea to have some sort of green, so I have asparagus for it.
● Pepper jelly
● Brie
● Butter
● Salt
● Pepper

今週はずっとブリーチーズが食べたいなと思いながら過ごした1週間でしたw
ので、ブリーチーズのサンドイッチを作りましたよ！
他の具材を考えていると、長女ちゃんがペッページェリーが良いなぁと言いました。
あぁ〜…ペッパージェリー…なんて良い響き♡となったので、それに決定です。
ペッパージェリーは唐辛子のジャムです。
甘辛くて食欲をそそるジャムですが、調味料として使ったり、ディップにしたり、サンドイッチやチーズ＆クラッカーと一緒に頂いたりします。

本日のサンドイッチ具材

● 今日はグリーンオリーブブレッドを買ってきたので、それを使うことにします。グリーンオリーブ大好きです。
● 緑が必要だなと思ったので、今日はアスパラガスにしてみました。
● ペッパー ジェリー
● ブリーチーズ
● バター
● 塩
● コショウ

First, I sautéed my asparagus with salt and pepper.

アスパラガスは塩とコショウでソテーします。

I sliced the bread so that I can make 2 layers but it’s not sliced to the bottom for easy eating.
I buttered the bread lightly, put brie in between the bread and broil both side in the oven.

二重のサンドイッチにしたかったのですが、食べやすさを考えて、パンは下まで包丁を入れていません。
バターを少し塗って、ブリーチーズをはさみ、オーブンで両面を焼きました。

Pepper jelly time!!!

ペッパー ジェリー！！！

最後にアスパラガスをのせて、召し上がれ〜

I made two sandwiches so gave one to my oldest daughter.
Hmmmmm...I wish I had some wine...hehe

サンドイッチは2つ作ったので、長女ちゃんに１つあげました。
食べ終わってから、ワインが欲しかったなぁ〜と思う私でありました。
また作ろぉ〜^^
