Steemit Sandwich Contest Week 77 - CONTEST NOW OPEN! - [3 Prizes]
This time it's pita sandwich. A vegetarian one with falafels.
I baked pitas and made it to DIY style on table. Even my small daughter tries to assemble hers by seeing mine :)
Ingredients
- Pita bread
- Salad leaves
- Purple cabbage
- Onion
- Carrot
- Cucumber
- Falafels
- Olives
- Yogurt-sesame sauce
Pita is a easy going bread. My mother baked them and I brought pita sandwiches to school for lunch. Good old memory. I wish I could have taken photos of sandwiches my mother made for me ... photos weren't digital (!) back then though ;)
毎週のサンドイッチコンテストSteemit Sandwich Contestへのエントリーをかねて、休日ということもあり朝からいそいそファラフェルの準備をして、ピタを焼き、お昼はピタサンドにしました。食卓の上で自分で挟む手巻き寿司スタイルです。
子どもが私がサンドイッチを作るのを真似してピタにあれこれ詰め込もうとするのがおもしろかったです。
ピタは母がよく焼いてくれたパンのひとつで、中高時代、お昼のお弁当にピタサンドを持って行くこともありました。毎日早起きして作ってくれたきれいなお弁当の数々、写真で残していればなあ・・・。
明日はお父ちゃんが会社の人にお昼ご飯を振る舞いたいということで、これからトルコの平たいパンを3枚焼きます。明日からの朝ごはんのパンも焼くし、今日はパン屋さんのようです。

あいさん、ありがとうございます。ピタはベンチタイム短め、生地扱いやすく成形も簡単なのでおすすめですよ。まずは食パンから取りかかり始めました :D

I just love pita and Falafels, this must have been absolutely delicious @akipponn! I've been wanting to make Falafels for a SSC Sandwich but never got around to it, good luck with the contest :)

確かひよこ豆で作るんですよね。こちらではベジタリアンのお客さんが、スーパーで冷蔵のファラフェルを買っているようです ^^
ファラフェル、揚げ物の面倒臭さはあるのですが、ひよこ豆は茹でずに水につけて置いて他の材料とブレンダーで粉砕するだけ＆衣不要で丸めるだけなので意外とお手軽ですよ…コロッケよりハードル低くてよく作ります😊 こちらでは水を加えて戻す粉が売られています。

母は良いお手本ですが時々良いお手本すぎて母レベルでこなそうとして呪縛になることもあります😅
家事も仕事も介護もしてその苦労を子どもに見せずにって… もう諦めてできることだけ頑張って後は適当です！

Pitas are so fun to make, perfect for your daughter to stuff with falafels :) Beautiful creation, the yogurt sesame sauce would be delicious!
I didn’t think about it but Oita may be good for small kids to start sandwiches. Easy for them to just stuff like a bag 😊
