I started my first entry for this week photo challenge with Xiao Long Bao dumpling and decided to go with the flow with more snack type food such as more dim sum from the east and pastry from the bakery.

这次的摄影挑战，我用了个点心（小笼包）的照片，决定继续用点作为参赛作品。一中一西的点心。

Eastern Snacks | 东方点心

I bought some buns (baos) and some siew mai dumplings from a stall in a food center in Toa Payoh, Singapore. The baos are smaller than the normal ones I get from other stall. Here is a photo of the baos next to a Samsung Galaxy S6 for you to see how small they are. Some are just bite size.

我在新加坡的大巴窑的一个熟食中心的一个摊位买了一些包和烧卖。那里的包比别处买的小一点。这里是三星Galaxy S6手机和包子照片，你可以看到他们有多小。 有些一口就搞定。

Minus the phone and it looks so irresistible.

拿开手机，它看起就无法抗拒。

They also have this lovely pink lotus paste bao (shou tao).

他们也有这个可爱的寿桃包。

There is a plate of these on the table wrapped up. I supposed someone ordered and they are waiting to be picked up.

桌子上有一盘寿桃包子用胶纸包着。 我想有人订购的。

These shou tao bao are usually for a birthday occasion to symbolise longetivity. Here is a closed up shot of them.

大家该知道寿桃包子是象征着长寿而用来和受的吧。 这是一个近距离的照片。

I would have used a shot of these as an entry if not for the wrapper.

若不是那胶纸，我该会用寿桃包子的照片来参赛。

Aside from the various baos, the stall has these siew mai dumpling too.$0.60 a bite.

除了各种包子，这摊位也有烧卖。$0.60一个。

Western Snack | 西方点心

At a pastry shop in Kallang Wave Shopping Mall in the evening, I saw donut covered with marshmallows. I wonder how it taste.The colours are nice but the lighting wasn't too good in this photo. So, I decided not to use this as an entry.

晚上在Kallang Wave购物中心的糕点店，我看到覆盖着棉花糖的甜甜圈。不知道它的味道如何。颜色很不错，但这张照片的光度不是太好。 所以，我决定不使用这个作为参赛作品。

Entry 2 | 第二参赛作品

Therefore, my second entry is this photography of the siew mai dumpling from the opposite view and looked ready to serve from the box.

因此，我的第二个参赛作品是从相反拍的烧卖。摆在盒子里等你享用。

Entry 3 | 第三参赛作品

For the western snack, I thought this photo of the multiple offerings with few obviously already taken from the tray will make a good photo.

至于西方点心，我认为这张照片献给大家多个选择而且显然已经从托盘已被取去几个会做个好的参赛照片。
