Learning English Through Poems (II) : The Boy That Never Grew

When your windows goes knock-a-knock,
Expect me without much shock,
Me and my little pixie, who is always a cutie,
Making my life forever fruity.

They say I am the boy who refused to grow,
I say they left the child as they grow,
From a world of joy, laughter and fun,
To a world of rules that happiness shun.

I dare promise you not,
But lets try the clouds us the whole lot,
Without wings I show I still soar,
When imagination rules I will not bore.

Wendy and her brothers are my new recruits,
To them I propose new green boots,
They are my friends, my families not my foes,
To Neverland where there is no rules.

I dread the Hook,
That dastardly one eye crook,
Always up to no good,
I try to stop him if I could.

This magical land should have no foe,
Without enemies for woe,
Happiness should always rein,
With fireworks colouring the sky life is never plain.

Call me Peter Pan and to Neverland I will show you my plan.
